We humans have dreamed of taking to the skies in flight since our inception. Well, too bad! People can't fly and unless you have loads of dough just lying around your house you won't be buying anything to make you fly. Thankfully, there are loads of awesome flying toys that we can control instead. The latest is the iStrike Shuttle, an iOS controlled drone of sorts that will drop ping pong balls on your unsuspecting co-workers. Yep, office warfare is about to go airborne. Read More...

I...I just don't know what else to say here. This is just awesome. It's like...everything life should be.

"Chogokin King Robo Mickey & Friends" is a line of 9-inch robot figures that connect together to create one giant honking Voltron-like Disney "Super Robot." It's made by the Japanese toy company Tamashii Nations, who have made other fine toys based on One Piece, Power Rangers, Mega Man, and more. Read More...

I'll be the first to admit that the 1980's animated "He-Man & the Masters of the Universe" veered into the realm of camp craziness more often than not and the vintage toy line upped the ante at every turn! As more and more action figures were released and sold, the need for variations on He-man and Skeletor continued to grow and one fateful day Dragon Blaster Skeletor was born unto this Earth in a fusing of water-spraying plastic unlike anything that came before! His bright colors and self-injurious concept (Having a dragon chained to your back is just simply a bad idea!) quickly gained favor with my young heart and he was immediately my go-to Skeletor during my childhood years. Now, Mattel has released an updated version in their Matty Collector-exclusive Masters of the Universe Classics line and I've finally found the time to properly review the one they sent. Join me as I take a closer look at Dragon Blaster Skeletor: Evil Leader & His Dreadful Dragon with Paralyzing Spray!

LEGO was putting out new reveals each day for their licensed lines during New York Comic Con 2012, and the latest comes from this winter's most anticipated movie "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey". Two new sets were shown, along with Bilbo Baggins' abode that was first seen at SDCC 2012. The Goblin King makes his presence known in the largest of the two sets and may hold the title as the largest LEGO minifigure to date! He towered over Gandalf in the display and dwarfs the Avengers Hulk minifigure! Read on for a closer look at the "Riddles for the Ring" and, the appropriately named, "The Goblin King Battle< "with pictures snapped at the LEGO booth!

Cut-throat mercenaries are a dime a dozen. However, cut-throat mercenaries named Sebastian are fewer and far between. That's why it's such a huge deal that Sideshow Collectibles is bring Major Bludd into their 1/6th scale line of G.I. Joe figures! Okay, so maybe his first name has nothing to do with his significance to the franchise-- but I always liked it! The 1/6th figure line normally utilizes a lot of the same body since the cloth goods and gear normally cover them and help bring out the individual character; however, Major Bludd looks to feature a ton of newly sculpted parts, including new arms that are detailed to show off his armored look. Between all of his incredible gear, and that he sports a wicked eye-patch, Major Bludd is quickly climbing my "Must Have Toys" list. Read on for an exclusive image of Major Bludd from the fine folks at Sideshow Collectibles!

Garbage Pail Kids are back! The most disgusting trading cards since, well, ever were a sensation in the '80s... And then the movie version kind of killed the appeal. Several decades later, they're back with a brand new series from Topps, and a contest to become a Garbage Pail Kid! We got a chance to chat with Stephen Dumas, Brand Manager for the GPKs, and found out why they're back now, what to expect, as well as looks at a few of the cards: Read More...

Last year, Marvel Comics gave away an X-Force version of Archangel form Hasbro's Marvel Universe 3 3/4" action figure line for free with the purchase of a digital comic subscription. I missed my opportunity to own the winged bringer-of-death... and sadness ruled the day. Needless to say, when it was revealed that a Wolverine figure from the Mark Millar-penned Old Man Logan storyline was going to the next subscription figure beginning at New York Comic Con 2012, I knew there was no way in hell were pretty good odds I'd miss my chance to snag it! As fate would have it, Hasbro hooked me up (and all the other guests, cause I'm not special) with one for attending their press party, so I ripped Logan free from his package at the Javits Center for an on-site review!

New York Comic Con 2012 is admittedly sparse so far when it comes to big time toy reveals, but sometimes it's the little things that sneak up on you that mean the most. Case in point: Square Enix. While all of their latest figures were on display, within each glass case stood a few all new protoypes from three of their most successful Play Arts Kai lines, and a new one! New Street Fighter and Halo 4 figures stood in all of their solid-gray newness, while Square Enix' latest license for the Nolanverse Batman films was represented by four new figures, including a very promising Heath Ledger Joker! Read on for all the photos of where your money will be disappearing to in the future!

The Mattel booth is once again stocked with piles of plastic awesome at New York Comic Con 2012, and more than a few glass shelves have been taken over by Batman-- plus a few of his allies and members of his rogues gallery. The variant suit-heavy Batman line is looking to continue strong with additions like Bane, the Joker (who has been hitting the gym), and a number of Batman figures with all manner of weapons attached. The Batman Unlimited line was also present for the first time since their announcement with the highlight for me being the "The Dark Knight Returns" version of Bruce that is compatible with Mattel's other collector-oriented line, Masters of the Universe Classics. You wanna see all of these various vigilantes and master criminals at NYCC 2012? Then read on!

Hot on the heels of Hasbro's teaser, during their pre-New York Comic-Con 2012 party, the entire G.I. Joe Kre-O line was shown off in all its brick-based glory. Duke, Cobra Commander, the Trouble Bubble, Wild Bill, and tons of Arashikage ninjas were present and accounted for and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the sets looked. I'm not sure how many I'll be picking up, but I will instantly pick up the Checkpoint Alpha set cause I gotta have Firefly! Still not a lot of info on the sets, but the pictures sort of speak for themselves. There will also be blind-bagged Kreons, like the current Transformers line, so hopefully Zartan, Destro, Dr. Mindbender and the rest of my beloved Cobra forces will ake an appearance there.

New York Comic Con 2012 opened up for the afternoon on Thursday and one of the first places I hit was the DC Collectibles booth. While there were some great products on display, one giant bat-themed hunk of polystone stood out among the rest like a Batman riding a horse-- cause it actually WAS Batman riding an f'n horse! "The Dark Knight Rises" will forever remain one of my favorite comics of all time and the love it's been getting lately, thanks in no small part to the release of the incredible animated film from WB animation, is a dream come true. This statue embodies the scene later in the mini-series as Bruce leads his army of Bat-lovin' hooligans against the criminals of Gotham City. The sculpt reeks of Frank Miller's line work while adding realistic texturing to the horse, saddle, and batsuit. Read on for a bunch of images I snapped when not wiping the drool from my mouth and fogging up the glass display case!
