Well it seems EVERYTHING from the 80s and 90sĀ are either being rebooted or re-released these days...and the Hasbro doll line "Jem" is no exception. Integrity Toys has just unveiled their line of new Jem dolls...let's do some comparisons here to see if everything's up to snuff: Read More...

Last year, Marvel Comics gave away an X-Force version of Archangel form Hasbro's Marvel Universe 3 3/4" action figure line for free with the purchase of a digital comic subscription. I missed my opportunity to own the winged bringer-of-death... and sadness ruled the day. Needless to say, when it was revealed that a Wolverine figure from the Mark Millar-penned Old Man Logan storyline was going to the next subscription figure beginning at New York Comic Con 2012, I knew there was no way in hell were pretty good odds I'd miss my chance to snag it! As fate would have it, Hasbro hooked me up (and all the other guests, cause I'm not special) with one for attending their press party, so I ripped Logan free from his package at the Javits Center for an on-site review!

Hot on the heels of Hasbro's teaser, during their pre-New York Comic-Con 2012 party, the entire G.I. Joe Kre-O line was shown off in all its brick-based glory. Duke, Cobra Commander, the Trouble Bubble, Wild Bill, and tons of Arashikage ninjas were present and accounted for and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the sets looked. I'm not sure how many I'll be picking up, but I will instantly pick up the Checkpoint Alpha set cause I gotta have Firefly! Still not a lot of info on the sets, but the pictures sort of speak for themselves. There will also be blind-bagged Kreons, like the current Transformers line, so hopefully Zartan, Destro, Dr. Mindbender and the rest of my beloved Cobra forces will ake an appearance there.

The pre-New York Comic-Con 2012 Hasbro party was exactly the type of extravaganza Tony Stark would have been proud to attend-- and cause a scene at. Food, drinks, music, and fun were in abundance, and the festivities were all surrounded by upcoming toy reveals for 2013. With Marvel Studios' "Iron Man 3" hitting next summer, Hasbro had a few items on hand including the larger Arc Strike Iron Man (sporting the Mark VIII armor) and an entirely new line of Micro Muggs!

Mini-figures and G.I. Joes are two types of toys that I'm a complete sucker for. Now, Hasbro has decided (according to this teaser poster they sent my way) to take all my money away by combining their G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero characters with the miniscule cuteness of their Kreons. Thanks a lot, you money-hungry toy barons! Anyway, during New York Comic-Con 2012, Hasbro will not have the booth presence that everyone has grown accustomed to and will instead be hosting a special press event on October 10th. Lots of late 2012 and 2013 toys will be on display, and I'll be there snapping photos and plotting an elaborate scheme to snag all of their wares. Until then, read on for a look at the teaser poster for the upcoming G.I. Joe Kreo sets!

"Monopoly Millionaire " is not the "Monopoly" of your childhood, and it says so right on the box: "First to a million wins!" While that's the most major of rules changes, several more tweaksĀ separate "Monopoly Millionaire" from its predecessor. In this case, change is a good thing. "Monopoly Millionaire" is a surprisingly entertaining take on a classic that, let's face it, has gotten a bit long in the tooth.

In recent years, the Masterpiece line of Transformers toys has brought about highly-detailed Generation 1-style releases of many fan-favorite Autobots and Decepticons. Now, with their upcoming 13th release, Takara Tomy (and later Hasbro, hopefully) is about to unleash one of our particular must-haves in the guise of everyone's favorite covert information gatherer, Soundwave, along with his trusty cassette spy, Laserbeak! While the MP-13 Soundwave figure was alreay announced, this is the first time we've gotten to see some official color photos of the final version, thanks to Amazon Japan, along with some of his many accessories. While the Masterpiece Transformers have been notching up ever further in price, seeing that incredible Laserbeak has helped us forget all our bills and dedicate a sizable chunk of change to procuring this as soon as possible!

Before the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con International, we made a list of our Top Ten Con-Exclusive Action Figures. Guess what happened to be number one on that very list? This Hasbro Marvel Legends set of Uncanny X-Force members: Wolverine, Psylocke, and Archangel! They're all sporting their black and gray/silver assassin-y type uniforms and that multiplied our want for these far more than we thought possible. We love teams that preemptively murder threats to mutant-kind, what can we say?! Did these figures live up to our expectations-- and the high prices they're drawing on evilbay? Read on to find out as we review the Marvel Legends Uncanny X-Force SDCC-Exclusive 3-Pack!

After releasing the first half of season one on DVD back in June, Shout! Factory is following up with all 26 episodes from the first season of the Hub TV series on September 25th.

The set contains the entire first season fugitives-from-justice arc of the updated series which has some similarities to the recently-delayed big screen counterpart. Right now, the only special feature detailed in the Shout! Factory announcement is a behind-the-scenes doc from the series, but they also promise more details about the three-disc set in the coming months. Hey, it's a step up from the previous DVD release which was barebones.

During the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con International, Hasbro showed off a number of new Transformers product from its numerous toy lines based on the warring factions of mechanized warriors. One piece in particular drew our attention, and after a frantic hunt for the key to the display case, we were given the chance to photograph the prototype packaging and figure for the Linkin Park Edition of Soundwave! The Decepticon spy/boombox is a reproduction of his vintage Generation One version and even includes his transforming lackeys Laserbeak and Ravage.

On San Diego Comic-Con 2012's Preview Night, we had a number of stops that were on the top of our list. Naturally, the thought of seeing new Marvel Legends had us making a bee line for the Hasbro booth as soon as we made it inside the convention center! Waiting for us, protected by a glass case, was the entire line up for Series 3 (Wave 1 of '13), including the variants. What wasn't waiting for us? A new Build-A-Figure. The figures in Series 3 are packaged instead with the hexagonal figure stands like we've seen in the Wal-Mart exclusive "The Avengers" 6 inch line. While those stands are admittedly quite awesome, when it comes to displaying your figures, they are in no way a good enough substitute for a BAF! Dwight Stall, the-man-with-the-plan when it comes to Hasbro's Marvel Legends, told us that while the Build-A-Figure concept isn't dead, they have something else fun planned for 2013.

Obviously, this new addition wasn't packaged with the figures, so perhaps a mail-away figure? Only time will tell-- and by "time", we mean "when they tell us on Saturday at the Hasbro Marvel panel." Read on for a look at all of the Marvel Legends Series 3 figures, including the red Deadpool variant!

In the world of toys it's pretty much agreed that G.I. Joe and Transformers are two brands that not only stand the test of time, but also have some nice releases regularly hitting shelves-- regardless of the various incarnations. Well, like last year, Hasbro is combining their two flagship-franchises for a brand-new exclusive set at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con international! This time, fans get a shot at picking up a Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank that features a deco and extra pieces to give it the appearance of every Trans-Fan's favorite cyclopian, purple, laser-pistol: Shockwave! While the previous Starscream and Cobra Commander set was fantastic, this year's goes one step further in delivering even more of a "story" by adding extra accessories like Energon cubes, a briefcase full of cash, a Constructicon-colored B.A.T., and even a tiny Soundwave! Read on as we review this SDCC-Exclusive set to see if it more than meets our eyes! (Yes, that WAS horrible.)

Last year, Hasbro introduced their own brand of building block sets, going by the name: Kre-O. Yes, it ends in an "o", just like that other building block brand, but Hasbro brought a little something different to the table with the release of their Transformers Kre-O toys. The first assortments consisted of constructable Autobots and Decepticons that could be assembled in either robot or alt-mode depending on how you were feeling at the time. Each set also had at least one Kreon mini-figure included that represented classic G1 looks of fan-favorite bots, or soldiers, cops, etc. While we reviewed our own set, the biggest surprise was just how cool the Kreons were and we instantly wished they were available separately. Now, our wishes have not only been granted, but expanded into something even better: Kreon Micro Changers! While info for these new releases have started making their rounds on the internet over the weekend, we're excited to be bringing you an exclusive First Look at the Kreon Micro Changers, and their Combiner counterparts!
