Though there have been others, the first permanent shop entirely dedicated to Eiichiro Oda's One Piece pirate manga and anime opened on Friday at Tokyo's Shibuya Parco Part 1 shopping complex. This November, BioWare gets another animated offering based on one of their RPGs as the prequel "Mass Effect: Paragon Lost" hits DVD and Blu-ray from FUNimation. Plus the boy becomes a magical girl and also a zombie comedy "Is This A Zombie" gets a limited edition DVD release.

With the recent release of underachiever anime Baka and Test, we thought we'd round up a list of characters who don't try too hard or just simply don't think too good.

Baka and Test is a recent release from Funimation, featuring the students of Fumizuki Academy, where attendees are placed in classes based on rigorous testing. The better your scores, the better your class and equipment. Our heroes are the students of Class F--the lowest of the low--led by Akihisa Yoshi, the dumbest of the dumb, whose ability to fail even the most rudimentary tests is legendary among the student body. With that in mind, we thought we'd take a look at some other underachievers in anime.
