Book of Unwritten Tales: Critter Chronicles trailer shows prequel madness
The Book of Unwritten Tales: The Critter Chronicles is a prequel to KING Art’s point-and-click series, showing how hero Nate Bonnet first met his sidekick Critter. Steam Autumn Sale starts tomorrow – report
Steam’s fall sales is set to start tomorrow, if blog post from the developers of Secret of the Magic Crystals is any indication (via Reddit). Of course, Steam will have its sale, Valve has just been quite on when it will start as it likes to spring things on everyone. Runic outed the fact it was coming soon last week, so like death and taxes, it’s inevitable. The Walking Dead: Episode 5 teaser shot and Episode 4 stats video released
The Walking Dead: Episode 5 is out next week, and Telltale has released a teaser shot of what to expect during the season finale. The developer has also released a video divulging stats on player choices during Episode 4 and the latest episode of Playing Dead. Finally, a trailer for Episode 5 is promised for Monday, so you’ll want to keep your eyes glued to the computer screen that day. DOTA 2: The International 2012 short film released
Valve has released a short film chronicling the events of this year’s major DOTA 2 tournament, The International, which carried a $1 million grand prize. If you’ve never really understood eSports and MOBA it makes for an excellent introductory taster, cramming a lot of action into just over 20 minutes. For those who followed along it’s a pretty good refresher, boasting interviews with competitors and other goodies in addition to a recp of the tournament. Watch the whole thing through the break.

Distance makes Kickstarter goal
Wipeout-a-like Distance has reached its $125,000 Kickstarter goal with two days still on the clock. Just a few days ago, the team at Refract Studios weren’t certain the futuristic arcade racer would make its funding target, but a last minute push seems to have done the trick.
