Grand Theft Auto: Vice City coming to iPhone and iPad later this fall
Rockstar Games has announced that it will be bringing its world famous game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to select iOS devices this fall. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was originally released way back on October 29 2002. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of this ground breaking game, it’s coming to iOS devices as well as some Android devices too.
In conjunction with the anniversary, we're pleased to announce that we'll be releasing an Anniversary Edition of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for select iOS and Android devices later this fall. This upcoming version will bring the full experience to mobile devices, featuring native high-resolution graphics and several enhancements unique to the iOS and Android platforms. Stay tuned for more details in the weeks ahead including a list of compatible iOS and Android devices.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary, there will be a series of commemorative assets released, including never-before-seen artwork and a brand new anniversary trailer highlighting some of the most iconic scenes and music from the game. In addition, a limited run of collectable promotional items will be made available for purchase through the Rockstar Warehouse, with select items also available via online giveaways.
This is certainly exciting news for anyone who is a fan of the platform. If Rockstar’s last GTA iOS port is anything to go by, expect the game to be hugely entertaining, graphically excellent and above all very true to the original. Let’s hope we don’t have to wait too long for it to arrive; Rockstar say this fall so hopefully in the coming weeks. We will keep you posted as soon as we know more!

Wasn't GTA shows so much violence and nudity?
How come it will pass into the App Store?
my friend's step-aunt makes $83/hour on the internet. She has been without a job for nine months but last month her pay was $18217 just working on the internet for a few hours. Read more here <<< Lap10.com >>>
There's no nudity in the original GTA, as I recall. Definitely violence though. A guilty pleasure.
Nudity no, violence tons of it. I have to confess I was downloading GTA III on day one and was hoping then Miami, motorcycles and helicopters would be released eventually. Can't wait.
Hell yeah, now all we need is San Andreas!!! I must admit though, it is somewhat of a pain in the butt with the touchscreen controllers. Regardless, can't wait.
If its going to come out the same day as the PS2 one came out 10 years ago, we can expect this game in the store on Monday. I'm excited. Rockstar needs to update GTA3 to, it's weird on iPhone 5 since it doesn't fit the screen.
It would be a fail, if they released it without support for the iPhone 5.
I wouldn't be surprised if they forget iPhone 5 support. I've had apps that have been updated by non of which include iPhone 5 support.
I hope it will be as good as the one I had in PS 2 few years ago
