And Jessica Biel explains the pink wedding dress.
Beyonce Wears Obama Earrings: The singer recently wore a pair of hoop earrings that spell out "OBAMA"—and one independent jewelry designer is making money because of it. According to TMZ, Puerto Rican designer Erika Pena had only sold 5 pairs of the earrings before Beyonce picked them up. And since then, she's sold 1,300. The earrings are $32 a pair here. We're adding this to the list of celebrities who wear their votes: just last week Katy Perry performed at an Obama rally dressed as a ballot. [TMZ]

Pippa Middleton’s Four Outfit Changes: Pippa Middleton made four outfit changes yesterday while promoting her new book Celebrate in the UK. And while her roster of designers may have included cool names like Roksanda Ilincic and Marcus Lupfer, it wasn’t impressing one little girl who told Middleton, “I hate princesses.” [Vogue UK]
Courtney Love’s Clothing Line: Courtney Love has created a clothing line by reconstructing 30-year-old vintage pieces that she’s had stashed in her closet since working at Paramount’s wardrobe department in 1983. Like Love, the items are an impressively attractive hot mess. She’s called the line “Never the Bride” and its one-of-a-kind pieces will reportedly start selling on Net-A-Porter pretty soon. Katy Perry Really Wants You To Vote
So much so that she dressed as a ballot at an Obama rally on Wednesday.
Performing for an Obama rally in Las Vegas on Wednesday, the singer wore a tight white dress printed with the image of a ballot – with the square next to the Obama ticket clearly marked. “Don’t wait. Go tomorrow,” she told the crowd of 10,000. “How many of you are 18 here? It’s going to be your first time, right?”

Meet Chanel’s Underage Model
Karl Lagerfeld has cast Ondria Hardin as the new face of his campaign—even though she’s only 15 years old. Misty White Sidell on the fresh young face.
On Tuesday, Karl Lagerfeld announced the stars of Chanel’s new spring campaign: the veteran model Stella Tennant, and newcomer Ondria Hardin. It all seemed ordinary enough.
Except for the fact that Hardin—who stands at 5’10” tall with a 24-inch waist and sunkissed flaxen hair—is only 15 years old. She ignited a controversy last year, when she appeared on the runway of Marc Jacobs’s fall show, openly flouting the CFDA’s astringent new health initiative, which requires that girls must be at least 16 years of age to walk in runway shows.
First Ladies of Style
Who cares who wore it better? Michelle Obama and Ann Romney are both fashion inspirations in their own way—and they shouldn’t be pitted against each other in a style smackdown, says Robin Givhan.
With the presidential campaign entering its last frenetic weeks, election watchers have decided there is not enough metaphorical snarling and jabbing between the current president and the man who would replace him. So observers have ginned up a competition between the wives.

And Hedi Slimane may be dressing The Rolling Stones.
Penélope Cruz Does Lingerie: Famed lingerie brand Agent Provocateur has teamed up with Penélope Cruz and sister Mónica to design a diffusion line of lower-priced merchandise. They’re calling the new sub-brand L’Agent, and its 15 different styles will sell for about $60 on average (compared with AP’s $152 average). The merch will hit stores and online this March, giving AP fans something to get excited for. This isn’t the first time that the Cruz sisters have teamed up on a fashion endeavor—they’ve previously collaborated with Mango and accessories brand Samantha Thavasa. [WWD]
Jessica Biel Wed in Pink: The $300,000 photos from Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s wedding have finally made their way onto newsstands on the cover of People magazine. Biel, who enlisted Giambattista Valli to create her dress, follows in the footsteps of fellow megastars like Anne Hathaway and Gwen Stefani by wearing a pink-tinted wedding gown. Timberlake, like any good groom, wore custom Tom Ford. [Fashionista]
Agyness Deyn's Breakout Role
The model, who stars in ‘Pusher,’ a dramatic film about a drug dealer in London, talks to Isabel Wilkinson about learning to play a stripper, how she gets into character—and how she's not done with modeling yet.
Agyness Deyn loves to become someone else. It’s a funny concept for someone who, from a distance, quite obviously has it all: a successful career as a model, a brand new marriage to Giovanni Ribisi, and stunning good looks.
But for her, there’s a thrill about assuming disguise, and fully entering into the world of a character. “It’s amazing to learn to be someone else and get in touch with what they’re feeling,” she says. “I just want to do it all the time.”
‘Good Wife,’ High Fashion
Dior! Proenza Schouler! Vivienne Westwood! Prada! Jace Lacob talks to ‘Good Wife’ costume designer Daniel Lawson about how Alicia, Diane, and Kalinda’s evolving high-end styles showcase their character development.
Within the cavernous warehouse that is home to the costumes for CBS’s sophisticated legal drama The Good Wife, there are apparently 600 women’s suits at any given time, waiting to be worn by Juliana Margulies’s Alicia Florrick and Christine Baranski’s Diane Lockhart.
“I probably have in the vicinity of 300, 350 for Alicia, and probably 250 suits for Diane,” said the show’s Emmy Award-nominated costume designer, Daniel Lawson.
Nelly Maintains Air Force Ones Will Be Cool Again One Day
The sneakers of the early eighties will surely “circle back around, like things always do.”
The rapper was once synonymous with Air Force Ones, one of Nike’s best-selling shoes -- which were released in 1982 and hit their peak in the early 2000s. But now, they’re the stuff of ancient history -- and, of course, The Jersey Shore. So when we spoke to him at the Angel Ball on Monday night, we asked Nelly (whose iconic “Air Force Ones” song came out 10 years ago next week) how soon they’ll be considered a fine vintage.
So as a fashion reporter, I was wondering what you think of Air Force Ones today. Are they still cool?
Natalie Portman Mascara Ad Banned in UK; Azealia Banks Boycotts Dolce & Gabbana
And Taylor Swift isn't worried about her abs.
Natalie Portman Ads Banned in UK: Natalie Portman’s mascara advertisement for Dior has been banned in the UK, after rival beauty conglomerate L’Oréal UK challenged its glossy (typical makeup ad) claims. According to the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), Portman’s photo was unjustifiably retouched to promote false effects and the advertisement’s claim of being an “unrivaled lash creator effect” exceeds its actual results. Dior claims that the photo was originally taken to shill lipstick and that it was designated as a mascara advert in post-production. [Vogue UK]
Bottega Veneta’s Long, Satisfying Simmer
A new book celebrates Tomas Maier’s gorgeous clothes and his patient revival of the storied fashion brand.
It is almost a rite of passage that major design houses create extravagant coffee table books in which the details of extraordinarily expensive garments are fetishized in lush photography. So the recent arrival of a Bottega Veneta tome from the art publishing house Rizzoli, was presumed to be just another show pony of a book.
A Fashionable Game of Strip Poker
Usually fashion videos are about keeping on your clothes. But in 'All In,' a new film released by über-cool handbag line Reece Hudson, models and actors endure a very stressful game of strip poker in various states of undress.
