Renoo27 With as much as I've read and heard the editors being upset with pointless, over-the-top violence, I'm surprised at the rating. Although, I'm sure it's a good game, I'll be passing as well.

I love that pure gameplay moment after the review! It just shows off the game, and you look at it with all that you have learned through the review so it gives you a few seconds to fully soak in what kind of game it is. All reviewers should do this!
It's like a bloodier version of Monaco: WYIM that shown in Gamespot's Secret Code several months ago.
This game reminds me of the film Drive, it kind of has the same vibe. Great review Danny -- waiting for more!
PostNothing Couldn't agree more. I said the same thing regarding the launch trailer. Something about the ultraviolence and 80's synth heavy soundtrack. Good review as well Danny. Can't wait to play this.
I don't know why but my game seems to be running at half speed. Anyone knows why this happens? My computer doesn't have the best graphics card but I don't think that's the cause.

Man this game takes me back to the days of klick n play. Where me and my friends made games similar to this style. So this really takes me back to my childhood and getting to replay a much more complex version of the game we tried making.

game's been on my radar ever since it popped on steam's homepage.
Just want to say what an incredible game. I have all the most recent games installed on my PC; Skyrim, borderlands 2, dishonored, torchlight ii, diabli iii. Since I bought 'Hotline Miami' I just can't stop playing it .. all the other games (with exception to torchlight ii) have fallen off my radar. This game is abo????ely INSANE. SO AWESOME ON SO MANY LEVELS. The game design, the feel of the engine, the music, the atmosphere, the story, the control mechanics, the difficulty .. its a perfect game guys. Well done developers .. I didn't buy the game originally, then I played it and then immedietly bought the game on steam. 10/10 !! I really really wish you guys build this game up more .. add for instance:- Multi player [somehow]- new stories and missions- dlc ..- new weapons .. - maybe a mode where you deal with oncomming endles amounts of enemies Anyway, thanks once again guys for rewarding PC Gamers with an incredible title. Thats all I have to say .. and remember guys, don't forget to wear a mask.

I own Hotline Miami via GOG. Damn good stealth action game, with a fucked up 1980s slasher flick vibe. Very psychological. It plays like Alien Shooter with mouse & keyboard, which ain't bad, but gamepad support would've been better.
