Podtoid 205: Chicken Chungus Vampire Sex Surprise photo

Podtoid is back from E3 and there are plans to hunt vampire afoot! They are definitely vampires, so don't ever worry about anything you might otherwise think. Elsewhere, we discuss marketing bones to children, and whether or not we focus too much on a certain co-host's anus.

Plenty of post-E3 discussion is had, including a rating of the "big three" press conferences, the wonder that is Wonderbook, and whether or not Nintendo is selling itself correctly. That, and there's a delicious little bit of commentary concerning touch and motion controls. All this and more, only on Podtoid!

Jim's David Cage impressions are some of the greatest little joys life has to offer.

Jim's impression of David Cage sounded like a Dutch Sean Connery.

Oh and by the way, Holmes, stead is pronounced like sted, not steed. That's why Jim was so puzzled.

Awesome episode, love you guys! I want to see a collaboration between Munkus Burger, Chicken Diner, Perfect Pizza and Chicken Chungus sometime.

I'm going to stop calling out for Jonathan Holmes' dirty anus now. It can't be too nice when you pour so much effort into producing truly excellent videos and features and only receiving "gape for me" as feedback. I love your work Jonathan Holmes and I want you to know it.

As much as I would love to be, Jim, I am not part of Jonathan Holmes. Yet.

Awesome pod cast! I liked the conversation about the Xbox Live vs PS3 online. I recently switched from Xbox to PS3 and I find the online there so much better (its free so awesome!) but I don't have to pay just to send a message to other users. Then again, I don't have any online friends.

I thought the David Cage impression sounded like Sean Connery, too.

David Cage impression left me in stitches, had to listen to it a few times because it was that great. Make that a more frequent voice Jim please, it's amazing.

I think this may be the first time that I've completely agreed with Holmes - about how he's sad that the Xbox is the "dominant" console this generation. I sort of own both the 360 and PS3 (the PS3 is mine but the 360 is my brother's, he still lives at home and doesn't use it too much so I have access whenever I'm home pretty much) and I just wish that the 360 wasn't the "everybody's choice." I only owned an original Xbox last gen, and never had Live, so I didn't have much of an opinion. But after getting the PS3 and free online, it's sickening to me that people are willing to pay for it. I suppose I'm somewhat of a hypocrite here since I have played WoW for about 4 years in the past, but to me, paying for a console to go online just seems different. I also just happen to prefer the PS3 (interface, controller (I know most people prefer Xbox's, but I don't, I for one like the sticks being aligned), etc). I, too, hope it changes next gen. But, I'm not a huge console gamer, so it doesn't matter all too much to me.

Also, I guess this is my "year anniversary" with Podtoid. The first one that I listened to was last year's E3 one. I have no idea why I decided to listen to it, since I didn't really visit Dtoid at all back then. I just randomly did. And god knows why I continued to listen to it after that week... But now, Podtoid has definitely become my favorite podcast to listen to. I look forward to it each week. Thank you, guys.

I really, really wish that guy representing Crystal Dynamics had never opened his mouth. Then we could've just played Tomb Raider when it came out and decided what we thought then, rather than wasting our lives talking about what some PR bloke said now, months before any of us will play the final game.

Listening to the Lollipop Chainsaw bit: does anybody else think the big fat zombies sound exactly like the sarcastic old man when they're getting chopped up?
