Sony's not shy about bringing weirdness to the PlayStation Network, and Papo & Yo looks like it may be the next quirky winner for Sony. The pretty looking puzzle-platformer is hitting the network today, and Minority Media is celebrating with a cinematic trailer.

Using a blend of live action and in-game footage, you'll learn how the protagonist's father is a "monster" with imagery that looks pretty freakin' bleak if you view it a certain way. In any case, I'm intrigued by this little title, and hope it turns out to be a gem.

Sony seems to have an eye for downloadable games, and PSN titles rarely let me down.

It does look pretty good, and almost uncomfortably personal. I'd love a chance to try it out.

I think there's going to be a demo.

Quirky weirdness works for me. The quirkier the better.

That looks unbelievably fantastic compared to the last trailer I saw, which seemed almost... genericly unique to put it one way. Like it was trying to be unique, it was flaunting something, but whatever it was it wasn't anything special.

I need to pick this up. Possibly this instead of Dust.
