  • Summary: Lena Dunham, creator of 2010's critically acclaimed independent film, Tiny Furniture, partners with Judd Apatow (Freaks & Geeks, Knocked Up) for a new series on HBO. The show, much like Dunham's film, takes a comically wry and offbeat look at the ups and downs of a group of twenty-something girlfriends living in New York City. The cast includes Dunham as Hannah, an intern at a publishing house in SoHo; Marnie, a motivated assistant at a political PR firm and Jessa; a down-to-earth girl who wants to be an artist and teacher.
