Do you hear the drumming of a thousand pens? That's the sound of time-burdened journalists writing excessively analytical stuff about this new Grand Theft Auto 5 artwork, which shows two men in red exterminator suits holding assault rifles and looking mean.
What can we deduce from such imagery? Everything, according to some corners of the internet. That number plate is probably a coded release date, and the cut of those trousers suggests that the game takes place circa July 1985, at about 9.30 in the morning, with a prevailing westerly wind.

Edit: R* have said they are releasing loads more info next month.We should hopefuly get to see the demo. they were showing off in NY the other week.

Whenever that is really, and then R* should either release stuff on the web the day before or at the same time. It's been a long year, hopefully there's not another one to wait.

It was either going to be october/november this year back last year when it was revealed or march to may 2013. I think maybe they'll stick to their may release schedule, though each game released in may had a release date set for march first or earlier, so I would expect them not to reveal a release date at all tbh, until they are 100% sure when it will be finished.

Edit: Although i should have added for the purists that it might be an AK-74.Although given the time frame i don't think is nowadays reckon it is a 47.

This is the same scene from the trailer, so it seems they're actually robbing the clothing shop? Maybe in the story you work your way up to the top of the crime ladder, starting off with small businesses and eventually moving on to banks.
