Not a good episode of the show.

This episode was very shallow and boring,mostly because of Peter's father.

Okay episode but Francis is the biggest reason why my score is low

Peter's very religious father comes to live with the family after he is forced to retire from his lifelong job at the Mill. Francis, however, is an ultra-religious Catholic who hates Lois and is incredibly intolerant of anyone else. Peter, though, hopes to have the kind of bonding that was missing from his childhood, and when all his plans fail to work out, he resorts to kidnapping the Pope. This "Family Guy" episode was just alright but it really could've done better. Francis is the biggest reason why my score is really low though. I just hated how Francis was being WAY too religious in this episode and how he was treating the family like crap especially Peter. On the other hand, there were very funny parts in this episode that saved my score from being any lower such as the cutaway with Peter falling out of the plane, Francis lecturing Chris about using the restroom, Francis reading the Holy Bible to Stewie to put him to sleep, The "Sanford & Son" cutaway (some of you probably have never heard of that show since it is an old 70s sitcom), Peter capturing the Pope, the Pope's line "It's like you said Peter.... I'm the Freakin' Pope", and the very ending with the whole family going to the escape pod when Peter's mother called that she is staying over at the house. So yeah, the storyline was pretty good and executed well in some ways but this episode just wasn't really what I had in mind. Overall, this was an okay episode of "Family Guy". 6/10moreless

Great episode, but my biggest flaw was Francis

Peter, though, hopes to have the kind of bonding that was missing from his childhood, and when all his plans fail to work out, he resorts to kidnapping the Pope. I thought the episode was great. Not the greatest I've seen from the old FG episodes, but my score is low because I thought Francis was harsh in this episode especially to Lois and when he fired Peter from work (after Peter yelled at him). Other than that, the episode is just great. Stewie, as usual in the old episode, is funny and I LOL'd at the part where he read the Bible and said "You'll find that in Winne the Pooh."Some cutaways were funny as well. Overall, a great Family Guy episode, but it was kinda weak and low on laughs. 8/10moreless

What I liked- Peter falling out of the airplane

Overall, an okay episode, wouldn't reccomend it to everyone.

Peter's very religious father, Francis, visits, and drives the family crazy. Peter gets him a job at the toy factory, but it only makes things worse as Peter reveals all he wants is his father to love him. Will he? Does he?

It was decent. I liked Francis lecturing Chris on the bathroom, and the 'Just Married' cutaway that indicated Francis has never liked Lois. Something was missing though. It was a good episode, but I don't know, I felt it could have been better in some parts. So my final grade is a B- or so. Good, could've been bettermoreless
