 theexperience13 Hahaha, I would classify GTAV as the greatest game ever if that were the case! 

 theexperience13 I highly doubt that. GTAIV had a very long story. I dont know the exact length but its hell lot longer than the 4-5 hour CoD stories.

I also quite liked the GTAIV multiplayer even though I despised the gun mechanics for that.

 kamikazeespleen Oh no dude, i didnt mean "Are they gonna make it as short as CoD?" I just meant I hope theyre not focusing on developing the multiplayer aspect more than the single player aspect since almost every new game on the planet has to have some decent form of multiplayer now, which I blame CoD for.

 theexperience13 Oh haha. Nah I dont think they will. The single player is the key element of every game in the series. I cant see Rockstar going down a multiplayer-focused route. I dunno how big the multiplayer was in Max Payne 3 so I cant compare it to that but GTA is known for its great story, great cast of voice actors and great gameplay in an open world.

Hopefully, they stick to those :)

 GamerMani Well, III, Vice City and San Andreas where only on the PS2 at Launch. GTA IV was on both the PS3 and 360 at launch. The global total for GTA IV on both consoles is 19.19 million. San Andreas sold 20.81 million on the PS2.

 Phil-teh-Pirate last i played saints row i didnt realize mincing a load of people with a combine harvester also i would reckon San andreas would be a better comparison than saints row since there was great fun driving through a ballas neighbourhood painting the town red 

 Venatorcruiser They had a mission in GTA2 where you stole a bus picked up passengers and took them to the hotdog factory

 bsnimunf yeah i remember that great times that game brought it was actually one of my favourites for PS1 

 bsnimunf it would also be awesome if you could modify the fire engines by swapping the water cannons with flamethrowers if you nick one and take it to a dodgy garage

 Venatorcruiser gta do have a variety of weapons...it also have M4/M16 and AK47..."why have different arms dealers for certain weapons" : from what i know, gta games only have one arms dealer....other than that compact carbines and cops getting wind sounds like a good idea....

 ravager1989  it makes the arms trafficking more realistic and also in nearly every GTA game they have the same weapons every time  why not have those weapons plus many more  guns and why not introduce more melee weapons for example bring back katanas and chainsaws or even go to a oriental weapons shop in little seoul such as throw stars and sai's etc 

 ravager1989 awhat i meant by the standard AK47 and M4/M16 is that they are in nearly every GTA game and usually the only two assault rifles so why not add more weapons list to usual guns seen and have a variety that could rival the amount of weapons to FPS such as CoD and BF games which have good amounts of each categories 

 Venatorcruiser  ravager1989 Great idea! It would be nice if they will include different guns, especially at least more than 2 handguns they usually make.

 Venatorcruiser  Unfortunately I did not play gta4 dlc. Were there many guns?

 Ortego13 on TLAD there was DAO12, sawn off shotgun,berreta 93R, pipe bombs and the combat shotgun was reskinned to look like a M1014 and there was M320 grenade launcher  and on TBOGT there was AA12, gold UZI, FN P90, M249, AMT AutoMag model 180 and DSR 1 sniper rifle

 Ortego13 my mistake the pistol on TLAD is a CZ 75 and the grenade launcher is a HK69A1

 Ortego13 yeah it would be realistic because in real life arms dealers who practice in a similar way to little jacob in GTA4 are like the little corner shop or convenience store compared to some of the dealers who work on an international scale are like a supermarket and funnily they sometimes have special offers on weapons which they are overstocked or just trying to get rid off quickly BTW you should TLAD and TBOGT they have good story and on TBOGT you can fly a gold armed scout helicopter 

 Venatorcruiser They probably dont have licenced guns in the same way they dont have licenced cars. The GTA series has already got a bad rep with people allegedly copying the game in real life. Yeah the guns probably have similar models and names but maybe they're just making it easier to get past the censors.

The idea about the arms dealers is great though. That would be really good. Kinda like what Mafia 2 had with the normal gun shops and that other army guy.
