Here is hoping it'll work! I grab it off itunes, if this episode has the same problem I'll try the other ones.
I downloaded off itunes and occasionally it seems to just stop and I have to start it again, but this time it only happened once. Not much of an issue and it's just easier to download off itunes!
Good episode... the PC LAN game sounds very cool!

Regarding Kickstarter:
I was disappointed that Dtoid had more coverage for Republique's Kickstarter than for Grim Dawn's (ARPG almost 3 years in the making now, from a couple of Titan Quest makers).
Anyway, I also agree that some of the new projects are being too optimistic about the money they can get there, and while people are more open to pledging I don't think the growth of the "kickstartees" (or whatever you can call the people that keep an eye there) is enough for a lot of the newer big money asking projects to get funded without press, and if they do get a lot of press attention, wouldn't it be the same or even better to just have the preorders in their homepage/store?
Regarding Diablo 3:
One of the good things to come out of the people whining about D3 is that I have other alternatives now, besides Torchligh 2 which I already knew about, I learned about Path of Exile (in closed beta, you can get in buying $10+ game currency, open beta in a couple months), and Krater (in steam for preorder), so I could get this 3 games for less than D3, and that should be enough to scratch the hack n slash itch.
And about GoT RPG:
I thought the game had a pretty good story, that manages to keep the tone and feeling of the books, and a not to excessive amount of fan service (the appearances of the few big characters, the rare/expensive items that belong to some character), but outside of the story and perhaps the type of sidequests the games has, I found the rest pretty mediocre.

Downloaded off of iTunes again, and playing it in my iPhone 4, the episode stopped and kicked me out to the episode list at 4:29. I'm now 20 minutes into the podcast, and it hasn't happened again, but I haven't finished the episode yet.
