Video Review - Borderlands 2

I didn't like this game, at all...

I'm loving this game. Just wondering if there's a flying vehicle for players to use.... I think i might have blown my possibility up...

lol @all the score whores crying about an 8.5 Smh

Borderlands has always been that "8.5" game that everyone wants in their games wishlist.  The first Borderlands scored on average around the same score and most editors picked it in their top 5 games of the year, and even GOTY.  

Haters gonna hate just because of a stupid score, and in this case.. an insignificant .5 increment.  

But if Call of Duty gets an 8.5... it's a must buy?  Sheeple.  F'in sheeple.

I don't see why people are not happy with the score. An 8.5 means 'Great', and Borderlands 2 is pretty great, right?For it to be superb, it has to do something differently and perfectly than other games, and Borderlands doesn't.

So judging from the comments on this video (and every other fucking video on this site) 8.5 = shitty game... hmm.

Why do you guys always review these games on a console? I mean really now, a FPS that looks better on PC, wtf?

Now arnt we all just being a little bit harsh on gamespot? i mean come on. i think borderlands 2 is a excellent game but im okay with a 8.5. it means its great. and that is correct borderlands 2 is a great game. and so was the first one as well.

"This game is almost better in every way from the first one" so that's why we'll give it the same score...Bull shit. Each game should be treated like a completely separate entity...But I don't know why I still get upset about gamespot reviews...The only reason I was here was to see if the hivemind of garbage that is their review team had changed the way in which the subjectively score games. Spoiler alert: They haven't.

If you don't get, that this game is at least 9.0, you don't deserve to call yourself a game reviewer, honestly.

But I'm pretty sure you know already..isn't it a pleasure having so many kids still visiting your page and generating your income through ads?

The thing is if you like the Borderlands series then this is a great second game, if you're a gamer that likes killstreaks and perks then this is definately not the game for you.

I played the first game and would probably say the characters then are better than in this but still a good 9/10 so far.

Coming from a guy that has beat Borderlands 1, Borderlands 2 isn't all that great or exciting. Let me rephrase, if I would've never played Borderlands 1 for over 30 hrs or better yet, never played it at all, I would've LOVED Borderlands 2. The thing is BL2 doesn't do enough to make it feel any different than the first. Its waaay too similar to BL1 and suffers from the same things. Recycles mobs over and over, bland skill system with lots of uninteresting passives, and dumber than average AI.  Not saying BL2 isn't fun, it is actually a lot of fun. But like I said before, the "WOW!" factor just isn't there as it is way too similar to the original.

I feel like I'm the only person that wants to trade in Borderlands 2 :/

Cel shading looks like ass.

This game is garbage, there arent any perks or killstreaks. What a joke.

Played 10 hrs of it so far, it's pretty amazing. Playing online with randoms is even pretty fun, only a bit annoying when people loot epics and legendary items away from you without any consideration. A simple loot system for rare items would have made even playing with randoms a perfect online experience. Because of the loot system you are far better off with friends.

I agree with the score for this game it's a blast to play, its fun as hell I love almost all the small changes to the game for example u can now trade with players or stake weapons or money in a duel, it's better than Borderlands 1 for sure if u loved the first game don't miss this one It's amazing:)

It's not a flawless game. And, for some reason when you play in someone else's game it counts as YOUR quests being completed when you go back to your game alone. It did not do that in BL1. So, I will not play with anyone else now because of it.

I'm complaining because the next COD will be atleast a 9 even though they don't change anything in game play or even have a campaign mode any more.

I can't trust Chris Watters anymore really, because he gave Spec Ops: The Line a bad review. I know it's childish of me... but I really just don't like him at all anymore.
