This week in Skyrim Mods, We butt stomp some Koopas, practice a little feng shui, and befriend the kindest member of the Fratelli family.
This commentary is terrible. It sounds like me and all my goofy friends.
I wouldn't really call this a TOP 5 mods...
How come we haven't seen more than half of the most endorsed mods from skyrim nexus? There are some brilliant mods there and you show us Mario and Sloth mods? Seriously?
o.O I think I must have had a bit too much skooma before hitting the play button on the video...
O.K. I understand why you like your mods, but this is getting way out of control. I almost can't believe people aren't bored of this yet. I got bored of Skyrim after about a month, but have been kind of getting that itch to play it agian, but that will have to wait until next year sometime when I get done with the unavoidable backlog that will come with the holiday rush.
This game would be better if with a Justin Bieber mod.
Bieber_Hole_69 How about NO !
HEY U GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUYYYYYYYYYYYYYSSSSSSSSSSSS
People have way too much time on their hands.
Kevin Vanord is so good
This show is pathetic and most of the mods are just stupid. Do people really enjoy this shit?
TaronAroyan
Yes, they really do. Mods are very popular and no matter how ridiculous some of them are, there will always be people who like them or are willing to play them.
Classic
Hahaha one of my favorites :D
That user created Sloth model looks awesome! I love it.
so cool need to get this
Haha explosive chickens
Gotta say, the mario mod is seriously tripy... Looks really fun though hahaha.
Someone should make a ride-able Falcor.
was that a hitchhiker's guide reference? nice...
I gotta say it... For The Children!
Great show... Just wish I had the pc version...
Loved the Gost Rider horse.
where the hell do you get the music in these videos from? they're freakin awesome
anyway the Placeable Statics mod fits perfectly to Hearthfire DLC so thanks
the mario mode looks really good
i hope they make sonic and the black knight mode someday
or even maybe prince of persia mode
*ugh* no offense, seriously, but mario, creeps, sloth?- how these made top 5 with all the awesome mods there are, is completely beyond me. Creeps? Mario? Sloth? When did this show turn into goofiest mods of the week?
Blaze is decent but I like my etheral horse (spectral looking). Lots of cool horse mods out there. Switch to different ones when you want a change.
i was about to tell you the princess is in another castle but then I took an arrow to the knee
Hmm rideable nukes.
ksdlass
all we need next is a congregation of hippies, ten gallon hat and a B52 then we will be on easy street
the Goonies one was sweet, "Hey you guuuys"
lol
... man that goones mod so stupid -_-
cheese00701
i liked it!
I thought this show was canceled, but I am glad it wasn't. Maybe next month there will be thanksgiving type mods. Although a Halloween mod would be awesome and the Mushroom Kingdom will never be the same thank you Shaun :)
That Mario mod was great! I played thru it before the show, and I was hoping you'd have it on here.
I both admire the mod makers for their clever mods, and feel bad for Skyrim for becoming a full blown joke.
GreySeven
And how exactly has it become a joke? =0
GreySeven
a joke how in what way?
GreySeven
It's not the way this show makes it seem. There's always stuff out there that's not what most of us would choose, but most of it is quality work, whether helping with framerate or crashes to questing to lore friendly locations to spells, etc. Why gs always shows the silliest things available instead of the great mods I'll never understand.
Tidal_Abyss GreySeven We've shown all sorts of mods on this show--some silly, some awesome. A mod that fixes crashes or helps framerate, well, there's only so much we can do to make that interesting to watch. "Hey guys, here's some regular Skyrim, and it isn't crashing, and the framerate is stable! Fun times!"
As time rolls on, we pick whatever seems cool or interesting at any given time--and what is entertaining to watch. I wouldn't say any of this week's mods were of questionable value. Everyone stretches their entertainment dollar in different ways. There's nothing about a Mario mod that makes Skyrim a joke. My takeaway is that a modmaker loves Mario, and used the available tools and his own creativity to do something fun. The same is true of any of these mods.
Perhaps "fun" to me is "joke" to you. Personally, I'd rather have modmakers expressing themselves in whatever way they choose. And if that means Mario mods, awesome self-destructing horses, exploding chickens, Minecraft helmets, and Goonies characters, I am all for it. It makes for fun times in a game, and fun things for our viewers to watch.
Kevin-V I think Skyrim is a great game, despite my hang-ups about it and the initial rocky release, and I've put a good deal of time playing it in addition to downloading mods/DLC that make it even better. Like I wrote, I admire the accomplishment of mod creators for what they can do, no matter what they make, and I got the PC version of the game for the mods. If we're talking about the dollar value of the game, I don't debate t that it goes far beyond the market price with the constant supply of free user created content. No matter what is made for Skyrim as a mod, it is/was/will be as the developers intended: limitless. And that's cool.I also find this show fun, the way you say it's intended, which is why I watch it. The finding of new content for show that creates interest is obviously an qualifier for being successful. To clarify, I don't find this show to be a joke, but I find the portrayal of Skyrim increasingly as a joke. In fact, I found the game quite hilarious with all of the release bugs, and I've agreed with you in the past where you've stated that the meme of the game has gone from the proposed developer experience to the 'arrow to the knee/look at all the bugs on YouTube' culture that truly actually emerged around it. That feeds into my opinion about Skyrim in my above post. To build off of what you said, the game is stable and running smoothly. It's not exciting to talk about stability when Skyrim's legacy went hand-in-hand with quirks. How many times can you feature new straight characters, NPCs, quests, houses, mounts, weapons, or armor before people lose interest? I'm not disagreeing with the logic and reasoning for showcasing what is showcased, nor do I disagree that they are fun showcases, but instead I am commenting on the image perpetuated by them that automatically overlays Skyrim.
Kevin-V Sorry, I broke all of that text up with spacing but for some reason it didn't post with it.
That dude from the Goonies... genius!
this episodes are loosing quality, no good mods, at least usefull ones :(
Dovahkiinknight Well there's only so much we can do; the mod-makers are the ones that make the mods, not us!
oh wow i asked yesterday what happened to this series and now its back.....
Haha loving the sloth mod! Awesome! Anyone know the name of that inventory mod?
Richy_G SkyUI http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3863
Richy_G its SKYUI you need SKSE to play it though :)
LOL! Weirdest episode so far!
Blaze of Eventide's burning footprints. That was sick.
