Level-5 CEO Mentions Smash Bros. in Inazuma Eleven Tweet

The Nintendo fighter has nothing to do with the Level-5 soccer RPG -- unless you're talking about the upcoming console version.

Inazuma Eleven is a soccer themed RPG. You move about the game world on an overhead map, draft players to join your team, then face off against rivals on the soccer field.

Smash Bros. seems to be as far removed from Inazuma Eleven as you can get. But that didn't stop Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino from mentioning the Nintendo fighter in a recent Tweet about Inazuma Eleven's console version.

Wrote Hino earlier today, "Meeting for the console version of Inazuma Eleven. Different from the DS version's RPG type, this has, maybe, the feeling of sports fighting. Perhaps those who like Smash Bros. will enjoy it."

Inazuma Eleven's console version, was originally announced as a remake of the original Inazuma Eleven. Things appear to be changing as the game progresses, though. In past tweets, Hino hinted that the game's name could change from the originally announced Inazuma Eleven Break.

Outside of the console version, Hino has been posting quite a bit about DS's Inazuam Eleven 3. The sequel's first promotional video is scheduled to debut at Sunday's Inazuma Eleven tournament championships.
