Morning all. Apologies for the shortage of news updates yesterday, which was occasioned by the regrettable fact of my needing a holiday, but hopefully, the following should make up for it. 4J Studios has announced that Minecraft Xbox 360 update 1.8.2 will be with us in a matter of hours - 10am GMT or 2am PDT.
According to 4J "it can take a few hours to be available everywhere", so don't go burning your house down if the clock hits one minute past and you're still un-updated.
"Get EVERYONE you know playing 1.8.2 this week!" the studio ordered fans. "Let's see if we can knock Modern Warfare 3 off the top spot in the LIVE activity chart!" Here's the launch trailer.

Well i can't praise this enough and i have barely scratched the surface,and all for free.There are some really nice little touches they have added in as well as the big stuff.Keep forgeting about the bloody hunger bar though,lol.Also has anybody else got a bug where if you open doors with nothing in your hand there is no opening/closing sound.Despite that,brilliant.
Edit: Plus how do you sprint ???? on the control layout it says left stick.But it is just normal speed if you move it and clicking it gives you the third person view.

I haven't got off creative mode yet, it's incredible.
Problem is I can't decide what to build I have tooooo many ideas!!!

The missus has alrady had a little go on it and it looks great, she found a village straight away, and the map looked bigger, not sure if it was my tired eyes.

The new level biomes and generator are amazing.
I have started building my underwater house in the middle of a large ocean, when i dug down around 60 blocks and hit a MASSIVE cave system under the sea, it goes on for miles and has its own underground waterfalls and lava flows, incredible.
Also love the thunder and lightning when it rains and now the rain looks great.

cant make pumpkin seeds, no chests to find pumpkin or melon seeds in, couldn't find portal room in stronghold, no villagers, no potions, no herding, tried breeding but didn't work... what tha heck i was rely excited for this and i got home and none of this was there. this stuff was the whole reason i was happy it was updating.but now i'm rely depressed that i have to wait even longer.....
