"My main priority was to write what I consider, and hopefully what the world would consider, to be hits," Robbie recently said of his new album Take the Crown. It's no secret the British showman is chasing global domination once again with his latest tunes, but after giving his new single a few spins, has The Robster already experienced his heyday?

Truth be told, 'Candy' doesn't touch the dizzying heights of 'Rock DJ' or 'Angels', but it's also far from his worst song to date. "Hey ho here she goes/ Either a little too high or a little too low/ Got no self-esteem and vertigo/ Cause she thinks she's made of candy," Robbie chants on a bouncy, playground chant of a chorus brassier than his stage persona - and there within lies the charm. This may not be Robbie's most career-defining moment, but we suspect it's going to make one helluva performance in those sold-out arenas.
