We've amped up the standard 300x250 IAB unit by smartly curating it to user behavior. As readers consume our site (from their initial front door browse to deeper reading on inside articles), the Splashbox adjusts its position across the pages, cleverly presenting itself for reader notice.

On the front page, the Splashbox appears above the fold at the top of the site. For front page Roadblocks, the Splashbox appears in concert with the Marquee. Together these two units create a splashy introduction to Gawker Media and marketer brands.

As the reader selects a headline and clicks to an inside page, however, reader attention focuses on the article content. Here the Splashbox appears in its new position, carefully inset in the flow of the story.

The Splashbox is the IAB's already good thing... made much, much better.
