She's doing her best with what - at least after a few listens - is a crushingly dull dirge.

Bit fat meh if you ask me. Dull bland ballad with some Bond strings over the top.
    My thoughts exactly.

Not impressed after the first listen but it might be a grower. I guess the boring video didn't help.

I reckon it will fit well with the film.

To be honest, anything is better than "Another blinger with a slick trigger finger for Her Majesty..."

It's not helped by having to try and shoehorn in the name of the film. Part of the reason the Chris Cornell one was so good is that they didn't have to try and find something that rhymed with Casino.

A rather splendid tribute to 007.

First reviews are out following last night's screening, sounding good, Bardem in particular.

Sounds better than I expected. One review though it gave a little too much away but raved about the first half

For me, this is going to be my film of the year. Some of the reviews have been outstanding. It may well not live up to this crazy hype but somehow, I think it will.

I'm just skimming over the last paragraphs of the reviews as I don't want to know too much before going in to see it.

Can't wait to see how they've done Q and if it goes back to 007 having a few handy gadgets.

I read the saturday times review yesterday, very praising indeed. Five stars. They had it as a news peice on page 4.

Super hyped for this now. Some reviews are saying it's the best Bond film ever.

I'd rather assumed that the praise was just press getting carried away with 50th anniversary hype, but that sounds quite promising. Daniel Craig might be the most successful Bond in years, if that's true.

I'm really quite excited about this, more than I thought I would be. It sounds like it's more "classic" James Bond than Casino Royale, but not quite as silly as the Brosnan ones, which sounds perfect.

It's all coming together nicely, good director, classic theme song, exciting villain. Can't wait.

Well got ticket pre ordered for tomorrow's 1030am showing. Gym first then cinema is next door to the gym.

Hopefully I don't fall asleep during the film and people mistake my snoring for the heart pounding bass in the action scenes :)

I'm going tomorrow afternoon. Daytime at the Everyman. Not a chav or child in sight. Just sofas and G&Ts.; Best Friday ever.

They're not paying for Everyman seats though. They'll be in the Vue with the poor people.

I just got homesick thinking of the Everyman and Screen on the Green.

If Skyfall makes it over to the Glorious People's Republic (TM) I'll have to contend with people talking on their phones through the entire film. Regardless of the cost of the seats. It's not an issue for them - they just read the subtitles. Fuckers.
