Five great goals you didn't see this weekend - starring Neymar, Emile Heskey and Jordi Alba

Weekly round-up of the weekend's best goals from all corners of the football globe

GOAL ONE
Emile Heskey
Sydney FC vs Newcastle Jets

Emile Heskey scored his first A-League goal striking in the 41st minute to put the Jets 2-1 in front at the break. The former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker did well to connect with an awkward cross from Ryan Griffiths as he volleyed the ball beyond the reach of Sydney goalkeeper Ivan Necevski.

GOAL TWO
Neymar
Brazil v Iraq

Another example of the biggest clubs in the world are vying for his signature. In a match better described as a total annihilation, he added his name to the score-sheet with this stunning curler from the left of the area.

GOAL THREE
Delphine Cascarino
Nigeria v France, Womens U17 World Cup

A goal that will haunt Nigeria women's U17 goalkeeper Gift Andy for years to come as she is nutmegged by the softest of penalty kicks from France's Delphine Cascarino. A poor strike bobbles towards Andy who looks set to stop the ball; as it passes through her legs she turns to see that the ball is in fact in the back of the net ... falling to the ground probably in the hope it will swallow her up.

GOAL FOUR
Jordi Alba
Spain v Belarus

Set up by a stunning back-heel from Barcelona team-mate Pedro, Jordi Alba scored his side's opener in their World Cup qualifier. The goal finished off a great team move started by Xavi Hernandez. The midfielder passed to Pedro, who flipped on a pass for Alba who then rounded goalkeeper Sergei Veremko and fired home.

GOAL FIVE
Ivan Rakitic
Macedonia v Croatia

We've saved the best until last this week. Croatia's Ivan Rakitic scored this incredible free-kick half an hour into their World Cup 2014 qualifier against Macedonia. From 27 yards out the Sevilla midfielder struck the ball perfectly leaving goalkeeper Martin Bogatinov with no chance.
