    Most segments have a fair share of cheap scares, but they also delve into the art of the build-up, as if delivering a series of grim jokes with bloody punchlines. Consider it a 21st-century take on "Tales from the Crypt."

    Anthologies are risky. For every high point, there's often a misstep to match. But this indie compilation has enough inventive chills to interest any horror fan.

    This film takes the Paranormal Activity trilogy and Cloverfield where the sun don't shine. I loved this movie, a lot, but at the same time, don't want to watch it ever again. Good thing I didn't throw up mid-movie. Bravo, Magnet Releasing! Well, wait. The camera shaking in a few of the stories were way too up-there for a sober dude, and way too still for a drunk group of guys... there's always room for a re-try (sequel, hint-hint. please?) here, in my opinion. Great job, guys!… Expand

    No, it's not different from any other horror anthology. The only satisfaction is that all the annoying hipster victims get deserving deaths. The VHS stylization is a welcome change, and the effects look decent enough to be believable, but the whole film approaches a campy horror film than a snuff film.… Expand

    How does this movie not have a bad review displayed on here yet? I was so excited for this movie. I was pumped that someone finally did a horror movie that looked semi-scary and bizarre. Instead you get 1 good found footage film (being the first) and 4 very mediocre and lame ones. The film after a while just became a chore to watch and really didn't have that horror element I was hoping for. I would not suggest watching this unless you like those found footage films. Quite lame.… Expand
