  • Summary: Camelot is closed, King Arthur is dead and the Round Table is no more. Trainee knights Gilbert (a highly-strung hypochondriac) and Edgar (an up-beat Christian) find themselves wandering the land in the company of a Mysterious Knight in search of money, adventure and comfortable underwear. When the mysterious knight dies (mysteriously) Gilbert and Edgar find themselves in possession of a letter addressed to him from a certain King Kendrick, entreating him to help rescue his recently kidnapped daughter Katrina and a bag of gold they spend. A pair of underwear, a Saint’s knee cap later they are on their uppers again but manage to be hired as security in a local castle to guard the recently abducted Princess - King Vincent’s bride-to-be. Can the two knights avoid the unpleasant castle inhabitants, rescue Katrina and put pay to the wicked king? (Hermit Film Productions) Expand

Everyone's likable, but Katrina is the film's crowning achievement, portrayed by Bucher as if she were an irritable housekeeper on a telenovela.

This comedy, the first feature by Ms. Bucher, suffers from technical limitations, perhaps imposed by a tough nine-day shooting schedule. The recording sounds muted; the whimsical musical score oversells the jokes; and the lackluster visuals fail to match the pungency of the language.

Making fun of such an inoffensive, amateurish production would be easy and mean, like punching a baby.
