One of Halo 4's multiplayer maps is a remake of much-loved Halo map Valhalla. It's now called Ragnorak, which is very clever because it's another callback to Norse myth which suggests an apocalyptic upping of the ante. Just the place to wreak havoc aboard one of those new Mantis mechs.
The screens go pretty large on mechs - you get to see two of them blowing each other up in classic, Cold War style, and there's a shot of somebody pounding a plasma grenade into one, probably while quipping "sunny side up" or some other specimen of macho bonhomie. Cheers, AGB.
Have a look. Here are five ways Halo 4 multiplayer isn't the Halo you remember.

Ragnorak, Clever? Nah, competent? Sure. I still think Halo (343) would benefit from expanding its symbolic mythological and etymological vocabulary. I would have preferred Nirvana as a name for this map, a nice contrast to the chaos that takes place in game and fitting because 343 are so near Seattle. As for the map, it feels like a welcome return home, plays great and looks beautiful. The addition of the Mantis will I hope expand the games appeal further into oriental markets, I just wish they would cast there nets as wide when naming stuff.
