Halo 4 screenshots show mighty executions during Capture The Flag on Exile

They're not just for waving, you know

It's after working hours here. Why am I still at my desk? Because somebody left the lid off a bucket of Marks & Spencers Rocky Road Mini Bites. Also, I'm playing the distinctly awesome Mark of the Ninja. Also, I'm off for a drink shortly with noted Traitor to the Cause Mike Channell. Also, somebody's released a bunch of new Halo 4 screenshots. CTF? Exile? Flag-based murdering? Go on then.

You can see Warthogs and part of a Mongoose in one of the shots. Those Spartan character models are lovely, aren't they - all shiny and colourful, like first-person shooters used to be before Mr Call of Duty showed up with his sack of gravel. Enjoy.

  1. Mike Channel always brings to mind aged-comedy Radio Active. Hilarious at the time. Doubtlessly rubbish now.

    As you were...

  2. I'n really looking forward to Halo 4, a chance to brush of the dust off of the old BR and lay some smack down on some bitches. Lol more like the other way around. I used to be ok at Halo back when Halo 2 was out ranking in around level 28 but now I get smashed, pummelled and no scoped left right and centre. But I still keep coming back for more.

  3. I'm a massive Halo fan and so am looking forward to Halo 4, but is it just me or do these screenshots look too bright and colourful. They look as if a kid has coloured them in with all the bright happy colours.

They do look colourful for a Halo game, but then Bungie never did get all they could out of the Xbox, their words. Roll on November
