We speak to Criterion producer Leanne Loombe and Firemonkeys associate producer Michael De Graaf about the console and mobile versions of the upcoming racer.
i love the background music! It just brings back the chilling memories of NFS High stakes car room! The song also used in Mass Effect 2 omega club.
why is this interview taken in omega's afterlife club?
Amurg The song also used in nfs: high stakes before that,
That looks like Frostbite 2 :P
looking forward to get this. :D
its seems more like burnout paradise.
If it don't have a clutch or manual system i dnt wnt it, real drivers clutch
t31t
real drivers use semi-automatic with paddle shifters.
what the FUUUCK happened to the car customizations?
And one more quick note. On last years EA production, Need for Speed, they made it so Forza couldn't include Porsche in their game. And EA's piece or shit racing title sold little, while Forza kicked ass. EA has all this money and I won't argue that they make great games like Madden and Fifa, but it's bullshit when they don't let a company like Turn 10 put Porsches in their game because EA has the money to stop them and make a sub par game, like they did earlier this year. Forza now has Porsches in their game via download, thankfully. EA puts out some good stuff but they stifle the biz. Hate em, love em.'
This is the same old stuff we have seen since 1986. Lame shit. This game should be a 15 dollar downloadable game, nothing more. Need for speed has run it's course. The last one did not sell very well and probably lost money. This one will do the same. Racing fans want something realistic like Forza. This is a silly arcade game and should be 15 dollars on XBOX Live.
same ol' . terrible stuff. this looks like 1987 stuff
i like the idea of finding your cars in the world then you can drive vs you gots win x amount of bla bla to get this
she is hot
criterion got no talent. this'll be the 2nd nfs under them and close to 5 years since paradise yet they still cant decide which 1 they wanna make
I love Burnout and NFS so yeah... this is a must buy for me.
if anyone played NFS III back in 1998 would know that the background music is from NFS 3 :D
'Underground 3' is the one that someone should be making!!.. Or at least the customization level that gave the pasts N4S underground.
i can play it for an hour,i will get bored quick because there is no story to keep me going! Nice graphics tho.
For those talking about the music, it was actually used in Need for Speed 3 and 4. So it's not really Mass Effect music... but it's understandable that people would probably point it out like that though.
It's been a while since I played N4S (Undercover), but that irritating blur effect seems to be gone when you use nitrous boost. You can actually see what's going on around you.
is this need for speed or burnout?! i love burnout, but i dont want to buy burnout in a watered down version. i rather buy a full need for speed...
zoeyleft it's definitely burnout. it's funny how they try to describe the game you can see it's just burnout with a facelift. same mechanics
zoeyleft thats what i was looking at to - definitely see burnout in this vid... hope it keeps the 2 apart from each other
Things look like they are going downhill?......! Don't mess thing up.
what hapened to all the classic street racing and rivals, and DRAMA......plz criterion dont turn our most wanted into an other "burnout game"........
screw need for speed. i want the next midnight club
this game should have ferraris ..
The first Most Wanted was probably the best in the series
Why have they re-uploaded this video? I've seen this before and I remember commenting on it =/
I really wished they would have made a updated version of the first most wanted with new story, new cars, a different city and no multiplayer. Multiplayer yes is good in some games if done right but most of the time its just a add on fluff feature. This interview pretty much told me bottom line that most wanted is another multiplayer centered hot pursuit with cops and hidden cars... So what am I suppose to look forward to when I get this game that hot pursuit didn't have? Some different features and open world driving and hide and seek car edition?
Oh well my rants done I'm just P"oed with the direction Criterion is taking the almost best game NFS had in its catalog.
man you are so right i hate this multiplayer focussed bs. i want a great story i want that fast and the furious feeling i got in the firt most wanted
ricocs The first Most Wanted was probably the best in the series.
Biggs613 ricocs damn right i stil got it on my old ps
Underground 3!!!!! That's what we want!!! Just don't have Criterion make it. They're good but they wouldn't do the underground series justice.
I know man, we've been saying for years.. UNDERGROUND 3!!! But please don't have criterion make it. They're good but they wouldn't do the underground series justice.
Love the game man. Bring it on. Still waiting for the day when you can disintegrate cars completely.
when the guy appeared on my screen: NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I want that lady back!!
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LET THERE BE MULTIPLAYER RACING, DONT DO A SSX ON US!!!! :((
WE WANT UNDERGROUND 3 !! why they don't listen to there fan-base ?!
This game looks like trash. They should have made another hot pursuit or one similar in structure. The last one was so successful because it mixed some of what Criterion does well inside the Black Box structure. This game is just burnout 1.2, no thanks. They should have done another hot pursuit building on what they'd already done, adding more customization, story, etc...I'll pass on this one unless I see some really good gameplay video which I have yet to see.
we need a racing game where you can really customise your cars, but not in a tacky way.
So I guess you have to drive off course and wreck a lot to bust through garage doors and find stolen cars stowed away.
she said, "if you can find it, you can drive it".....what does that mean?
shops/car yards at different points in the game world?
Looks average. Then again I was never a burnout fan. Gotta love the ME2 music though.
Please bring Mia from the original MW
lordshifu totally she was damn sexy
lordshifu meow meow :)
This looks really cool :D
Isn't this the same music they play in Afterlife on Omega?
