Amazing game, very short though.

I don't expect players that fail in my stealth games to have options....I expect them to die

love the show but I can't get over the unfinished background; the shadow isn't colored in all the way. if you sent me a copy i could fix it. it'd only take a second.

Love the feedbackula.  Great job at using content to make content.

"haters are going to hate" if splinter cell devs hadn't change it from a really slow paced strategic stealth game into a fast paced stealth-action game (and to save time if you think scc hasn't stealth elements do not even bother to comment) and kept it as it was people would immediately say: ohh.. come on!!!..... again the same stuff??? wtf??!! the devs aren't creative!!!.... another game that has become like COD!!!..... (I donot like COD btw) so people just easen up it was a time for a change ... I would like also to have an option just to sneak from your enemies yes I would (optional stealth :P ) but still feeling like a shadow reaper.... :P ......  was fun!!! as for Dishonored just finished it and it is an amazing game playing the way you want and watching later on what are the effects of your actions ( which are major chaos changes) was one of its best features not to mention the awesome stealth mecanics.... a recomentetion whitout questioning.

the game is fantastic and fantastical.  Stealth is as stealth does but it isn't the only way to play....and isn't that what they told us the whole time before the game released?  I am just saying i was having a hell of a bad time at time playing stealth at the beginning.  I kept getting caught...then i'd die just to restart and try again.  now that I have gotten a better feel, pulling off stealth kills are awesome and i am more successful overall.  Pulling off stealth knockouts can be even more exhilarating.

for the haters out there.  stop hating and just use your imagination.  oh, and grow a pair if you want the game to be hard...it requires that you force yourself a little

I liked how one of the comments basically said "Stealth games are better now-a-days because they have less stealth". That made me laugh.

Dishonored is horsemuck. Why all the hype and love for it? I'm around 6 hours into it and theres absolutely nothing at all new or "cool" over something I did in numerous games over 10 years ago. Its clunky stealth machanics force first person mode make it feel like its designed for facemashers (console kiddies) Now get out of my way while I go pledge some money to Chris Roberts! BOOMSHANKER! MOTHERF***ERS

Not sure I can think of one...RESIDENT EVIL 6!  AHAHAHAAAA Spewing coffee out of my nose is not a good thing.  It BURNS!  Another great episode Gspot.

On another note don't forget about the awesome stealth mechanics in the Batman Arkham games.  Great stuff.

This Feedbackula really has made me want to pay more attention to my literacy!

the majority of the gaming clients are filled with noobs..thats why the line betw genres are thinning out faster than u can see!

I found myself doing things very "stealthy" and then would realize I dont have to and then I would go brutally kill someone. I definitely didnt think it was to easy because I was able to be sneaky. 

Remember people this is not Dishonored part 2 or 3 where they strayed from their original game, this is Dishonored a new game, they can do whatever the hell they want and you have the choice to play it or not, it's not like they tricked you with false advertising.

Glad that Dishonored doesn't have any quick time events  :P

Sooooo finished Dishonored this morning... wow. What was meant to be a quick run through look me about 12-13 hours lol it's far too easy to just give up on stealth and just annihilate everything. At the same time I can see how it would be incredibly difficult going the entire game without being detected. So in essence, this is the easiest and the most difficult game ever. Plans to go through again and collect every rune and bone charm are made so much easier because of the level select option too. Hope there's another one, with more depth and exploration, like a cross between Fallout 3 and Arkham City.

I love proper stealth titles, shame they don't exist anymore. I used to play the play the early splinter cell games but not the recent incarnations. It seems like more and more people are getting fed up with this trend of genre merging. They even tried to turn battlefield 3 into COD with the "close quarter" DLC shame on you DICE. I didn't buy that either, if I wanted to play COD then I will buy... wait for it... COD. Saying that I haven't had fish for a while. Might just pop to the shops?

The problem with stealth is that it requires a combination of realistic stealth mechanics and an excellent enemy AI that is neither too dumb standing without turning around just because you are in "stealth" nor too uber finding you immediately afterwards you pop out of a window or shooting through dense foliage with pinpoint accuracy.

You get either one of those things wrong and its all messed up.

And sadly this is the case with Dishonored, enemies patrol way too strictly defined paths and are oblivious to all outer influence as long as you are sneaking and not standing directly in front of their nose.

For me the best stealth experience and enemy AI was that in S.T.A.L.K.E.R series.

have to say that how Hideo Kojima started the Metal Gear franchise and good stealth games like Splinter Cell and Deus Ex pops out, but now Call of Duty's detroying the genre. :(

There is always suspense in stealth.After completing a certain mission involving extreme stealth or bypassing heavy security you always get this feeling of satisfaction.In conviction there was only one or two of such kind of missions.

It takes SKILLS to play stealth. That's why i like it. XD

Hey Entropy56, I do understand that Splintercell Coviction wasn't as good as the rest of the series but you hate it cause Sam got too violent?!You must know that interrogation was one of the few fun things you can do in Conviction.He should get violent as that guy knew something regarding his daughter's "killer".I bet your just some kid who loves to play 12+ games or perhaps 3+ games.

Stealth isn't exactly the strong point of this game,Its actually the powers and the variety of killing techniques.

The stealth in this game seems very basic and the enemies seem to be blind
