App Store change could be the end for FreeAppADay

Apps no longer allowed to display apps other than your own for purchase or promotion.

Changes to the App Store guidelines could put a spanner in the works for popular apps including FreeAppADay and AppShopper, reports PocketGamer.

The new App Store guidelines state: "Apps that display Apps other than your own for purchase or promotion in a manner similar to or confusing with the App Store will be rejected."

FreeAppADay and AppShopper both fall into this category and as such face dismissal from the App Store if Apple so wishes.
