It looks better on the PC but in the end it's still just a cheap console game.
PC gaming has ALWAYS been more advanced then console gaming. If it weren't for some console exclusives then I would never bother with anything other than my PC.
Xbox is that White Thing from microsoft or what i think i saw it somewhere, i am asking because i never played on anything except PC.
Let's end the PC vs Console argument right here. It's like comparing homeowners to those who rent, there are benefits and downsides to each.
playing games on PC has always been a more immersing experience for me. When you get more for your buck. It is totally worth it.

Seriously why do gamers act like babies when it comes to graphics. Just Play the GAME!. Who cares what console you play it on. I have tried both and honestly i dont care. I Play on the xbox because i just do. its fun. I don't care about grpahics or any extras. I JUST WANT TO PLAY THE GAME. Stop being super nerds! Get out more maybe.

Okay, guys, seriously... what the hell?! Before you go on to say how I'm a PC fanboy and yadadada, I want to point out that I have a PS3 and I love playing games on it. However, I am primarily a PC gamer. So all of you are saying that you cannot make the investments required to buy a gaming PC, because a console is cheaper... wait, what? Both the PS3 and 360 (especially the former) were extremely expensive when they were first released. They had some very impressive hardware for their time, but it only took them about a year to age and thus fall behind the constantly evolving concept of PC gaming.
Nowadays, you could build your own PC and be able to run games on higher and/or highest settings for the next few years, but pay the same amount of money (or even less, if you know where to look and don't mind getting some pre-owned components) than what your console cost you if you bought it on day one or shortly after launch. For a few bucks, quid, groszy more (or whatever else you call it in your country), you could get yourself an absolute monster PC that will last you for years, considering the slow pace at which gaming technology has been slowly crawling forward in recent years. Honestly, it's like you're just using that age-old excuse just to say something against facts. It's pointless, quite ignorant and unnecessary. Use another argument; one that actually makes sense. :P
Not to mention: console games are generally much more expensive (they also take much longer to drop in price) and on Xbox you have to pay for multiplayer... which is bull, and I don't know how people agree to this, but to each his own I guess.

In addition I would like to add,'WOW!" I am very impressed with your comment and am encouraged by your knowledge of what is currently going on in gaming these days. I see a lot of BS out there with those who seem only to like the sound of thier own voice and the truly ignorant that I cant help but feel invigorated by one who sees the truth so clearly....yeah, okay im done, but it needed to be said.

I feel exactly the same way (I'm a 360 Guy) but sadly im not informed enough to find the proper materials (cheaply) needed to upgrade my pc, between getting a good graphics card, and then updating the powersupply it will cost you more then 150 current price of xbox 360

Look on Craigs list. I got a computer for my daughter with a 23' monitor for $200. Plays everything outhere right now. Just have to be patient and look.
At the end of the day, my friends aren't PC gamers and they aren't going to be, so I'm going to play with them on the console if given a choice, no matter how good the graphics are.

PC is the best investment you could ever make if you're a gamer. My PC is more than 4 years old now and it still runs most games almost maxed out including borderlands. Hell even any game looks fantastic in low settings on a PC than the console versions counterparts.
So, what is the point of this show, exactly? It's to show that Borderland 2 is not optimized for the consoles (at least the Ps3), right? Probably not. This is probably a show to troll console gamers.Games such as Uncharted 2 and 3 as well as Killzone 2 and 3 (not to mention the upcoming Last of Us) prove that consoles (well, the Ps3) anyway is capable of producing games which are up there with the best optimized PC games.

arsenal1111 While I agree that the Uncharted and Killzone series are absolutely amazing from a technological point of view (especially for console titles), I gotta say that your attitude is really quite pathetic. There's no trolling here. If you can't face that cold, hard fact that most games look better on the PC - then go cry somewhere else.
arsenal1111 Yeah, Uncharted and Killzone series.. Those are not even for PC. So you can't compare it actually.. Its like saying my Starcraft runs way better on PC than on a console.
If those game were released for PC... They would still look much better than they do on consoles.

Looks way nice! I still would of gotten it on the Xbox though. Better graphics are great but they still don't compare to ease of playing with friends. Especially on a multiplayer heavy game like this.

Lazerith91 So why is it easier to play multiplayer on the X Box? You can play a Lan game with your friends if you don;t like Steam.. And even an average laptop plays this game better than the X Box..
markosasav Everyone look closely. In my first comment I gave Borderlands on the pc the props it deserves. A very positive comment for a very positive game on a very positive system. But still even with all that, it wasn't enough for these people. Pc gamers will not rest until their system is regarded as the god of all systems in every single category. Console wars are quite fierce but in the end we still know our consoles limitations. And I've said it before and I'll say it again. If your mom or dad bought the pc and you are just mooching off it then STFU. You have no say. Your parents do.

its a shame they force feed console games.. yet they cant even compare to Pc's and replaceable hardware. i bought BL2 for ps3 just for split screen with buddies. regretting it now!

what this streaming video failed to show is the framerate differences.
PC runs at 60FPS+ while console version is capped at 30FPS.
you won't see that in this video because video itself is running at 24~30FPS.
Been playing it with these settings since the beginning except I have to lower the PhysX because I have a 2gb HD6950 ATI card. Apparently you can still use those features with an ATI card but it uses your CPU power instead of your GPU. I have a i7-2600k so it mostly handles it but the fps drops to about 30 with PhysX on high so it' just not worth having it on unless it gets highly optimized. My buddy has a high end Nvidia dx11 card (sorry not as familiar with Nvidia models) and even for him it runs like crap with PhysX enabled so who knows.
DX9 plus 720p and xbox's 360 graphics seem like ps1. I believe there is no reason for PS3 vs PC comparison.
PC graphics are years forward.
I think its time for new consoles, cause you are falling behind consoles-fans and you are dragging us to the bottom with you.

PC is getting killed by cheap console industry anyways. This is not even 50% of what an above-average PC can show. There is still no console game that looks as good as crysis 1. PC game development has stagnated, we are all playing games with cheap graphics today. I didn't update my radeons 5870s for years, on my i5, and still playing everything maxed to the top on 1920x1200. I remember the happy times when graphics was going forward so fast, that one-year old games were looking comic compared to the new ones... today the new games look comic compared to some from 2008/2009. Very sad... recession on all levels.

XBOX can do 70% of what PC can FOR THIS GAME ONLY, while in real life, XBOX can't do even 10% of what a PC can. XBOX is actually just a retarded PC.

Bubreg sounds a bit angry. xonsole games are optimized so they can get similar graphics without needing to upgrade hardware every few months. a pc from 2005 couldnt play half the games currently being released on xbox right now. i dont prefer one or the other, but consoles are for people who cant afford to update their system every few years. dont hate.

Case you haven't noticed it's 2012. Point was and you missed it is the Systems where dated when they came out. PC gamers are not asking for developers to make high system requirements for games but, to develop with the option of turning settings up to max them out on todays PC hardware. Because of the consoles we are gettign dumbed down versions with no way to up the settings without some sort of 3rd part support.
The game has cartoony graphics so why waste time to make a graphics comparison between PC and Consoles.In every system it looks average...
The game overall from the graphics perspective is nothing special compared to many other games that have way more realistic and beautiful graphics from this....
Simplythebest12 I suppose I disagree, personally. Despite the "cartoony" style of the graphics, the visual and environmental effects are all very impressive from what I've seen even just on my 360, especially considering how many things can be going on at once without any slowdown. Enemy variety and animations also do a lot to make the game stand out from a visual standpoint, and it's the art design, if anything, that makes the game look so great to look at compared to most shooters.
Does running the game on a high-end PC make all of these things better? Maybe a little bit, if not enough to necessarily warrant the purchase of such a rig. But if you've got one already, it seems to be one of the best-looking games out there simply because so much work has gone into the style of it. It may not have the kind of visual fidelity seen in games like Battlefield 3 or Crysis 2, but I'd argue that it's a lot more fun to look at.
