RSS Terms and Conditions for PlayStation.com

Please read these terms and conditions ("Terms") carefully before downloading an RSS feed from PlayStation.com. Please also note that these Terms will be deemed to have been accepted by you if and when you download an RSS feed.

We may, at our sole and exclusive discretion, change, alter, modify, add and/or remove portions of these Terms at any time by updating the contents of this page. You should therefore visit this page each time you download an RSS feed.

1. Licence

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited ("SCEE") grants to you a royalty free non-exclusive licence to display on your website (the "Site") the information and/or material that you select to receive from PlayStation.com (the "Content"). All intellectual property rights in the Content shall remain the property of SCEE and/or its licensors.

2. Site

You may not use the Content on any Site that includes any of the following content:

  • Promotion or encouragement of illegal and/or criminal activities
  • Libellous or misleading statements
  • Discrimination or hatred, including in relation to race, religion, gender and sexuality
  • Content that infringes copyright and other intellectual property rights, or encourages such infringement
  • Pornographic, blasphemous, offensive or obscene content
  • Content that invades an individual's privacy or encourages users to do so

Irrespective of the above list, SCEE may terminate the licence at any time if it considers your Site to be inappropriate for use of the Content.

You may not amend, edit or add to the Content in any way, nor should you suggest any endorsement of the Site by SCEE, its affiliated companies or PlayStation.

3. Credit and link back to PlayStation.com

All content on the Site must include the following credit: "Content from PlayStation.com"

Where possible you must include a functional link to the page on PlayStation.com containing the Content. If it is not possible to do so, you must display on-screen the URL from which the Content can be obtained.

4. Warranties, Liability & Indemnity

You warrant to SCEE that the Site complies with all applicable laws and regulations and that users of the Site shall be required to comply with terms that are equivalent to the these Terms in relation to their use of the Content.

The Content is provided on an "as is" basis and no warranty is given in relation to it. To the maximum extent permitted by law SCEE, its affiliated companies and licensors are not liable for any loss or damage to you or any third party whether direct or indirect incidental or consequential and howsoever arising from your use of the Content. You hereby agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend the SCEE in respect of all damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and litigation expenses, arising out of or as a result of any breach of the Terms or otherwise in connection with your use of the Content.

5. Termination

You may terminate these Terms and in particular the licence granted at paragraph 1 at any time by destroying or removing all copies of the Content from your Site, all hard drives, networks and other storage media.

We may terminate the these Terms and in particular the licence granted at paragraph 1 at any time without liability. If we do so, you shall destroy all copies of the Content upon receiving notice of termination from us.

6. Governing law

These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction
