Here’s A New ‘The Walking Dead – Episode 4′ Trailer To Prepare You Emotionally For Its Release Later This Month

Telltale Game’s episodic series The Walking Dead is one of the few that has managed to get better and better. After the way Episode 3 ended, I can only assume that the next episode, dubbed Around Every Corner, will be the most intense one yet. In the trailer, which you can see after the break, we’re teased with a stranger on the radio, Kenny’s back to drinking (though, really, can you blame him?), and Lee punches a girl. Don’t worry, it’s not Clementine who gets a taste of his mean right hook.

‘Resident Evil 6’ Review: Putting The Action Back In Action Horror

The wait is finally over. What has already been a stellar year for horror fans is about to get even better with the long awaited Resident Evil 6. Capcom’s “throw everything and see what sticks” approach has resulted in four different campaigns that practically feel like their own games, the return of the highly addictive Mercenaries mode, and a new competitive Agent Hunt mode. Either this strategy has paid off, giving fans of the series a variety of different ways to enjoy this ambitious game, or everything could buckle under the weight of its lofty goals. Let’s find out.

Halo 4 Has Some Kick Ass Weapons. But Do You Prefer UNSC, Or Covenant?

343 has got some awesome looking new weapons for Halo 4. And if you head past the break you can check out 2 videos. One features the weapons of the USNC, and the other the weapons of the Covenant. So why don’t you do us both a favor, head past the break and watch those videos. Then comment and tell me if you play for good or for evil. You should also be so excited for Halo 4 (like me) that you want to run around screaming and punching babies. Halo 4 comes out November 7th, exclusively for the Xbox 360.

Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid) Asked By Konami To Make The Next Silent Hill

Dropped down on my knees, I beg you Hideo, PLEASE!!! Thanks to my friend AfterTheAsylum for heads up on this hopefully wonderfully amazing news. So long as everyone doesn’t vex Hideo too much so he says no. It’s true, according to Eurogamer in an interview with Hideo Kojima the President of Konami called him and asked him to make the next Silent Hill game. A lot pf people don’t think the past few Silent Hill games have been the picnic through Silent Hill that they wanted. They weren’t all sunshine and tampon lollipops like everyone had hoped for. And from reading the interview Hideo seems into the idea, but a little apprehensive. More past the break.

‘Torchlight II’ Review: Now With Twice As Many Diablo References

The first Torchlight was a fantastic game. It had a vibrant and colorful world that mixed fantasy and steampunk, but because of its many similarities to Diablo, many saw it as a dungeon crawler to keep them busy until Diablo III released. With Torchlight II, Runic Games has decided to up their game. Find out whether or not they succeeded, after the break.

Get Your Space Travel Fix With The Mass Effect Trilogy

If only several months back I had known BioWare would be releasing a Mass Effect Trilogy I maybe would have held off on going through the series. Regardless, coming November 6th for $60 bucks you can get all 3 Mass Effect titles in one neat little package. There is no word on whether any of the DLC will be included, but at this point I’m going to guess that it’s not. Past the break for screen shots.

‘The Walking Dead – Episode 4′ Coming Next Month, Retail Compilation To Release Alongside Episode 5

This should come as no surprise since the first three episodes in Telltale Games’ fantastic episodic game The Walking Dead have all released about a month apart from each other, but in case you were worried, Around Every Corner will indeed be releasing next month. This could very well end up being the most intense episode to date, and if you’ve been keeping up with the series, you know that that’s really saying something. In related news, if you like your video games tangible — maybe so you can fondle them a bit? No one’s judging — there will be a retail compilation that will release alongside the fifth and final episode.

In case you missed them, you should definitely check out our reviews of Episode 1, Episode 2, and Episode 3

If We Want A Resident Evil 2 Remake, Capcom Wants Us To Beg For It. And I Will.

So here I am Capcom, down on my knees. Over at Gamespot during a video Q and A with Capcom producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi he admitted they weren’t currently working on a remake of Resident Evil 2. HOWEVER, he did say if the fans go nuts for it, and if there is enough of a push from the fans that would definitely be grounds to start the remake. Resident Evil 2 is the game that started me out and pulled me into horror gaming, so naturally I would do anything for a remake. You hear that Capcom? ANYTHING. He didn’t officially state how we should demand it. So, lets start a million petitions and start sending stuff to Capcom. But what?

Here’s A New ‘Resident Evil 6′ Trailer To Get You Pumped For Its Release Next Week

Capcom is going all out with Resident Evil 6. Four campaigns and a bevvy of multiplayer modes, including the return of the deliciously addictive Mercenaries mode make this installment in the iconic horror franchise the most ambitious one yet. I’ve spent a good amount of time with the game so far, and damn. Unfortunately, that’s all I can say right now, so if you’d like to hear more I suggest keeping an eye on Dead Pixels for my review, which will be going live Monday morning. Until then, I have the trailer that premiered at Tokyo Game Show last week that you should definitely watch. Check it out after the break.

‘Dead Space 3′ Eudora Walkthrough

Put your Dead Space 3 fears to rest friends. For though Dead Space 3 is throwing in some things you may dislike, it’s also staying true to its horror roots. In the video below you can check out a walkthrough of a ship known as the “Eudora” where Isaac faces many fears he has before. That doesn’t make me any less nervous. I screamed my way through the first game and again through the second. I see no reason I wouldn’t be screaming my way through this game. Dead Space 3 will be released on February 5th for the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.

10 Video Games That Were Unintentionally Terrifying

There are some who say the horror genre is dying, or that it’s lost its mainstream appeal as video games continue to force their way into the pantheon of “accepted” forms of entertainment, right alongside music and films. I say that’s a load of crap. The horror genre isn’t dying, we’re just not recognizing many games that are actually far more terrifying than the scariest Silent Hill or Fatal Frame could ever hope to be. Here are ten games that are supposedly fun, quirky, or in some cases, adorable, when they’re actually horrifying.

‘Remember Me’s’ Combat System Makes My Brain Hurt

Up until this point I was pretty excited about Remember me. Until I saw the Combo Lab video you can check out past the break. Maybe it’s just me but when you start adding too much to things that should be a lot simpler the game starts to fall apart. In the Combo Lab video they show you how you can create your own combos to take down specific enemies. I’m lazy, and that seems to involve way too much work. Check out the video past the break and let me know what you think. Screen shots are there too, you know, if you’re into that sort of thing. Remember Me will be released May of next year assuming the world doesn’t end this December. PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
