67'		The USA up against it now, Dos Santos finds Vela and he calmly chips Perkins, 3-0. The USA do have time on their hands to make some sort of comeback.

		Unbelievable scenes here in Rutherford, the water tight defense of the USA is bursting at the seams as wave after wave of Mexican attacks wears down the USA defense.

62'		Goal Mexico, and the USA are all over the place, acres of space for Vela and again he run takes him into the area and lays it off to Sabah who's shot is blocked by Perkins and Dos Santos for an easy finish on the rebound.

45' +1		Yellow to Medina for infringement on the free kick, that's twice now he has stood in front of the free kick taker and Mr. Campbell has no option. The free kick is taken and Dos Santos once again finds Medina in open space and his shot is across goal but no one is following up for Mexico.

44'		Dos Santos finds Medina in acres of room down the left but he's closed down by Marshall and ends in a goal kick.

		Welcome to the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup final match between USA and Mexico from Giants Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey. History beckons for one of these teams this afternoon as both countries have won a total of four finals each. For the fourth time these two great rivals lock horns in a Gold Cup final. Mexico has the upper hand with two victories in 1993 and 1998 while the USA took the honors last time out in 2007.
