"Quirky frames & a way to get a giggle with head shots."
Version: PhotoFunia
Pros
It is fun, it claims to have facial recognition and for the most part does if you only have one face in the photo... great looking frames for lack of a better term. Mainly meant for head-shots and single person photos.
Cons
Warning: they keep your photos.! Check the do not add photo to faces folder before uploading a photo. Read the fine print, they can do anything they want with your photo once you've uploaded it. Facial Recognition, only one face per photo
Summary
I wouldn't use this again, they have two or three of my photos, even though I checked the"Do not publish the photo in Faces section of the website." That box isn't available on every effect. So use with care, if at all!
The facial recognition is poor, limited to one face per photo. Claims you have to have a full front face photo, so I though it would be fin with some people in the distant background (profile) but not the case, even though my face was fully lit, the facial recognition grabbed a partial face that was in the background and very dark on one photo and trim on a top of another. Half the time it tried to grab some arbitrary image for a so-called face.
Bottom line, I wouldn't use this at the risk of giving up my photographs for arbitrary use!
