Doane Creek flows through Forest Park into a culvert at Highway 30, and its subwatershed extends from the ridge of the West Hills near NW Skyline Boulevard to the Willamette River just south of the St Johns Bridge. The upper portions of the subwatershed are mostly wooded, while the terrace along the river, in the past a mix of wetlands and seasonal lakes, has been filled and developed.
