Expand this comment »I appreciate and thank the following people for their supportive comments and for taking a very public stand on a critically important issue affecting our youths and our society. I want to make it clear that I am not against advancement in computational technology. However, I draw the line at using implants melded with the human celebral cortex. I particularly worry about how dangerously easy 'computational implants' can be accessed once these become commercially available. As impressionable young minds are, they are 'easy targets' for developers who pitch their products at these vulnerable age. It is outright consumerism, greed and totally irresponsible.
