Katsuhiro Otomo Coming to Comic-Con!

The man responsible for one of the most influential anime of all time—Akira!

While this is not exactly “fresh news,” I’d like to get my two cents in. First off, I’d like to say, “KAAAAAANNNNNNNEEEDDDDDDDAAAAAAAA!” Now that I’ve got that out of my system, I’d like to say, “TEEEEETTTTSSSSUOOOOOOOO!” Seriously, this is pretty cool, and probably a bigger deal if you’re an anime fan over thirty. He more or less got an entire generation of people “jazzed” about anime. I’m looking forward to having him explain the end of Akira to me, as well as all of Steamboy.

If you could have any guest from Japan come to Comic-Con 2012, who would you pick? Yoshihiro Togashi would be my choice!
