Patrol ng Pilipino: Catching thieves, and regulating plastic

In this episode, to be aired on September 11, Patrol ng Pilipino tackles robberies, which are becoming more and more prevalent in the metropolis, and the newly-implemented plastic regulation ordinance in Quezon City.

Nowadays, safety not just outside, but even inside our homes is a big issue. Crimes happen even at daytime and perpetrators have become more aggressive.

A recent robbery happened during a birthday party at the celebrant's home. Intruders grabbed the jewelry and money of the celebrant's family and their visitors.

Other cases of theft were recorded: one happened in a convenience store and the other at St. Peter Parish in Quezon City, where thieves stole the church's monstrance.

Meanwhile, Jing Castañeda probes the Plastic Regulation Ordinance of Quezon City.

The Local Government Unit approved the ordinance for the regulation of plastic consumption in the area after rain brought by tropical storm Ondoy and recently, the southwest monsoon or habagat, left Quezon City flooded.

Held accountable were gutters and drains clogged by garbage such as discarded plastic bags, which pushed the Quezon City local government to regulate their use.
