'Realms of Ancient War' launch trailer hits, now available on XBLM

Electronic Arts announces support for GaymerCon

Publisher Electronic Arts publicly announced its support for the first annual GaymerCon, a new games convention said to focus on the gay, bisexual, lesbian, and transgender community.

"EA believes that to be truly innovative, you must be inclusive. We are proud to be a part of this event," said Ginger Maseda of global diversity and inclusion for EA, in a prepared statement made available in the latest GaymerCon press release.

The event has also gained support from the Xbox Live team and Robert Khoo of Penny Arcade.

Fundraising for GaymerCon initially began on Kickstarter with a goal of $25,000. The project reached its goal in late August, hitting $91,389. GaymerCon is scheduled to take place in late Summer of 2013, while EA is said to have a "significant presence" throughout.

Capcom and Level 5 released a trailer for their joint 3DS game, Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney at the Tokyo Game Show today.

The trailer is in Japanese only and shows cutscenes and gameplay elements. The trailer also shows conventions from both games included in the game, from the puzzles that Professor Layton solves around town to the courtroom antics of the Ace Attorney.

Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney will be released in Japan for the 3DS on November 29th. A version for North America and Europe has not yet been announced.

'Okami HD' coming to North America October 30th

Okami HD will be coming to North America on October 30th via the PlayStation Network, Capcom announced today at the Tokyo Game Show.

The high-definition remake of the 2006 Clover Studio classic will be exclusive to the PlayStation network and sell for $19.99. The game will also be upscaled to 1080p, feature trophies, and support PlayStation Move.
