Bethesda Announces New Skyrim Add-on, Titled Hearthfire
Not quite the size of Dawnguard...
08.28.12 - 10:19 AM

Bethesda has released downloadable content of all shapes and sizes, from horse armor to weapon packs to full-fledged expansion packs. Today, they announced that Hearthfire will be one of the smaller packs for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, released for 400 Microsoft Points on September 4. Rather than add a new adventure, Hearthfire, as its name might indicate, focuses on the player's home. You'll be able to build it from the ground up, starting with a one-room bungalow or constructing a mansion with rooms like an armory, alchemy lab, and more. You can choose where you want your home, guard it from intruders, and even adopt children.

No pricing or release date has been announced for PC or PlayStation 3, but hopefully both Dawnguard and Hearthfire will be available to those players soon.
