E3 2012: New Final Fantasy XIV 2.0 Screenshots, Artwork
It's really pretty.

Although the game was only shown behind closed doors at E3 last week, the first screenshots and artwork of Final Fantasy XIV 2.0 have surfaced online. Rendered in the new graphical engine, they include a peek at the new user interface and character creation screen, as well as the first look at male Miqo'te and some redesigned areas.

The artwork showcases several familiar faces, like Chupon from Final Fantasy VI and avatars Cait Sith and Fenrir from Final Fantasy XI. A full trailer was originally scheduled to be shown at E3, but was postponed until sometime in August. In the meantime, check out the new assets in our gallery below.
