Telltale Games Brings The Walking Dead Game To Life
First trailer, pricing, platforms, and more.
03.24.12 - 4:10 PM

Telltale Games, known most recently for the episodic Back to the Future series, has another such project in the works, this time based on the ever-popular The Walking Dead franchise. The point-and-click series will also be episodic, five parts in total, with the first part releasing late next month. Each episode will be released monthly for $4.99 US or 400 MicroSoft Points, or fans can buy a season pass for $24.99 US. However, if you pre-order on Telltale's online store, the season will cost $22.49 US, and there is a pre-order contest where you have a chance to actually be in episode four.

Watch the series' debut trailer below and you'll see a sample of the 2D/3D blend of art style that they're going for.

The official website hosts more clips, including a good chunk of gameplay if you watch Playing Dead Episode 3. The Walking Dead will be available on Xbox Live, PSN, and for PC and Mac. No mention yet of an iPad version.
