Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning Gets Three Special Midnight Launches
Meet the big names behind the game!
01.31.12 - 6:43 PM

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, the first game from 38 Studios and Big Huge Games, has had a pretty famous staff behind the scenes, And when the game launches next Tuesday, February 7th, the staff wants to celebrate with fans who are also anxious for the title. The upside: There will be a few midnight launches. The downside? They staff will only be present at three of them:

  • Bellingham, MA (yes, that's MA. Sorry, Washington folks!) - Curt Schilling, the baseball legend who founded 38 Studios, and fantasy author R.A. Salvatore will be attending GameStop's midnight launch at Stallbrook Marketplace, 258 Hartford Ave, Bellingham, MA 02019.

  • Tempe, AZ - Todd McFarlane, who brought us both Spawn and his McFarlane Toys merchandise, will be in attendance at the GameStop in Tempe Marketplace, 2040 E. Rio Salado Pkwy, Suite 110, Tempe, AZ 85281.

  • And in Cockeysville, MD, this one will see a number of Big Huge Games' staff: popular game designer Ken Rolston, lead designer Ian Frazier, art director Tim Coman, lead combat designer Joe Quadara, and audio director Grant Kirkhope. All will be at the midnight launch taking place at GameStop located at 10015 York Road, Suite A7, Cockeysville, MD 21030.

Note: These may not necessarily be the only midnight launches for Reckoning, but they are the only special events being attended by the game's staff. For other possible midnight launches, check with your local store. Be sure to check back with RPGFan closer to next week's release date as well for our review!
