Dragon Quest X Gallery Update: Of Trains And Quests
What's a game these days without a fast travel option?
01.27.12 - 5:39 PM

Dragon Quest X Online has a fairly large world as you would hope for in an MMORPG. So, to travel between its five continents you'll need some non-tedious - and maybe even instant - method of transportation. Square Enix's solution to this is intercontinental trains, or 'extreme long distance railroad.' Alternatively, there's the Rula Stone which lets you quickly transport back to a place that you've previously visited. Each stone can only remember one location, but you can carry a bunch of them at a time.

The quests you get are dependent on your current job, or even the continent you're on. Martial artists, for example, can fulfill a quest left behind by a martial arts legend while warriors will get a quest requiring some travel, from an elder; Monks will need to decipher a mysterious poem to solve their own quest.

For the latest screens pertaining to all of the above, be sure to check out page 7 of our gallery below. Dragon Quest X Online (Wii, Wii U) does not have a solid release date.
