No spines,

Just looked at these gloves at Modell's and they hade no finger spines for support. There may be some difference but they looked the same and were Adidas F-50 training goalie gloves

These gloves were much thinner than we expected. They feel rather flimsy and not durable. We haven't had them long enough to see if they will hold up. They do seem the right size for our U8 team.

make sure to size them,

I ordered a size 6 for my son, they are alittle too big so I ordered a size 5. The size 6 are foam which should be good for beginners. I hope the 5's are just as good as the 6's. I dont think my son needs the hard shell fingers yet and the foam seems sturdy enough.
