After an in-depth, critical analysis, I simply couldn't find anything wrong with Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

I cannot sing this game's praises enough. The beautiful animation, the timeless music, the attention to detail on every detail from the interface down to the load screens... I have never been more impressed with a franchised game, and this game has instantly skyrocketed to my top 5 all time favorites.

Even the harshest critics will struggle to find fault in its symphony of imagination, execution, and polish, while fans will cherish its brilliance for years to come as one of the very best games in history. Quite simply put, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is the reason I still play videogames.

L.A. Noire is everything that people expected it to be. It has a fantastic set of stories that drive the game from beginning to end, beautifully motion captured actors and enough gameplay elements to keep the gamer deeply involved. On top of this there is a large city to explore and enjoy. Rockstar certainly brought the goods with this one.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is breathtaking, engrossing and deep. With gameplay and visual improvements, Bethesda set a new standard in The Elder Scrolls series with Skyrim, and with the action/RPG genre. This most certainly should be the game of the year.

Preserving the importance of a personal story against the backdrop of a galactic catastrophe, Mass Effect 3 respects its foundation as much as it understands and indulges in the player's choices. And it does it better than anything else.

Excellent gunfights, strong characters and plenty of room for expansion makes Red Dead Redemption one of the best games of 2010.

It's a fantastic game, just as everyone hoped for and expected. Must buy.

You know, outside of the minor points I made earlier, God of War III just plays like a dream; a really, really awesome dream. It's hard not to be giddy about how amazing this game, this series, has been.

Pac-Man Championship Edition DX is about as solid and sensible an arcade revival that we've seen in the downloadable space. It's reasonably priced, intelligently balanced, and incredibly hard to put down.

MLB 11 The Show is an upgrade from last year's game, and that's saying a helluva lot considering how good last year was for a majority of baseball fans. With added/improved modes, gorgeous graphics and better controls you will get the best baseball experience from Sony's baseball franchise.

Skyward Sword is a masterpiece. It raises the bar for the legendary series and is memorable from start to finish. It's challenging, unpredictable, diverse, thrilling, and endearing. It is the Zelda game you've been waiting for.

It's everything Diablo II was except better.

This game is awesome to play and will add hours upon hours of fun for any type of player casual or hardcore.

For as great as Knights of the Old Republic was in the day, Dragon Age: Origins simply trumps it.

The PSP incarnation is fantastic translation; it retains all of the originals strengths, augments the entire package with its added technical muscle, and compromises only with a negligible handful of minor squabbles.

At the end of the day you get a lot more bang for your buck in Madden NFL 11. There's more depth with GameFlow and Game Planning, a natural feel with improved controls, better presentation and just a phenomenal overall experience.

A precedent has been set, and there's no reason sports games should look back: NBA 2K11 is equally as impressive as it is important.

This game is everything the original was and more; it borrows the basic components and rebuilds them into something even more spectacular and cohesive than its precursor.

Mass Effect 2 on the Playstation 3 is not only a better value because of what's packed into it, but also it's a considerable upgrade in gameplay and presentation. Add in a very cool comic from Dark Horse and you have the best Mass Effect 2 on any platform.

With Portal 2, Valve willfully defied common logic by creating an exceptionally detailed yet mainstream friendly experience out of, essentially, a puzzle game.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is a near perfect redesign of one of gaming's most iconic titles...Nothing more needs to be said.

It's hard to find a pair of games held in higher regard than Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Famito Ueda and his colleagues at Team Ico drew two master strokes that not only illustrated the fundamental difference between Eastern and Western design, but also captured the former at the pinnacle of its influence.

With only a few minor issues, Insomniac has produced not only the best Resistance game to date, but one of the best FPS games I have ever experienced.

RE 4 is one of those games that could be re-released every five to ten years and still be as good and as important as it was the first go around.

KOAR is simply staggering; it's a tremendous achievement and an experience you shouldn't miss.

The game is really that good and reminds me so much of the great games Black Isle used to produce.

The previous installment was great, but this installment of Call of Duty puts the previous to respectful shame. Packed with the best visuals you've seen on the 360 and fantastic gameplay, you'll have a resonating experience like no other.
