Fully Detachable Control Panel
Take your front panel with you for added security. The control panel features an oversized, active black mask display and illuminated control buttons.
AM/FM Radio
Enjoy your favorite radio programming with the PLL-synthesized tuner, featuring 24 station presets for instant access to your preferred stations, and switchable USA/Europe radio frequencies.
Auxiliary Input
The convenient front-panel auxiliary input (3.5mm mini jack) is a great way to enjoy audio from your iPod, MP3 player, or other external audio devices.
CD Player

I have this product now for 4 weeks. Changed it out in my Silverado Truck for the Original Radio. This Radio rocks. The Features are incredible. The sounds is owesome with the original speakers. My wife even has to to turn down the radio because she can hear the sounds (Frequencies) a lot better than with the original radio. She uses the USB Stick a lot. Easy, small and lots of MP3 music on it. The faceplate is removal and behind the faceplate some one even could use a SD Card, if needed. It plays MP3 from CD and even plays CD-RW. Some of the feature I haven't even used yet. The installation was incredible easy. One little advise for Silverado Truck Owners. Go on the Internet and order a Cable Assembly so you won't loose the Alert signal. I paid $10.00 for this. Well worth it. This radio rocks. Very well done Boss. However, there is one little thing, while no problem for my wife and me, maybe anoying for some others. It might take a second or two longer than normal for the music to start playing from CD or USB stick. However for that price and features I'll take that anytime, no problem for us. There's nothing out there that comes even close to the Boss 822UA price vs. features. I am glad I purchased this one.

All in all very pleased with this radio, very easy to instal using the installation kit and the correct wiring harness. The sound is great, it makes the stock speakers sound like they are a really good aftermarket brand. The only negative is it takes the cd longer to load up then I would have anticipated.

Good radio but not standard size. Width and height are OK but
Depth is over-sized!
Standard DIN depth is 6.25 inches, this unit is over 7.
If you have a limited install depth (as in a dash) be sure
to measure first. To be even safer measure the depth of the
radio you are replacing.
If this unit is deeper then the one you are replacing there
is a good chance this will not fit.
Also watch the thickness if the plastic used for the install
kits. The Scosche stuff is really thin and susceptible to
breaking. AI (American International) seems to make the best.
