Kaskelot
- Built in Svendborg, Denmark in 1948.
- The flagship of the Square Sail Fleet.
- Originally commissioned by the Royal Greenland Trading Company to supply the remote East Greenland coastal settlements, and subsequently as a fisheries support vessel in the Faroe Islands.
- Square Sail purchased her in 1981 and totally re-designed and re-rigged her as the three-masted 19th Century barque that she is today.
- The name ‘Kaskelot’ is Danish for sperm whale.
- She is one of the largest remaining wooden ships in commission.
