China retained their title with a 3-1 win over their great rivals and have now won every gold medal since the women's event was introduced to the Games at Athens in 2004.
'China is a great team - very steady,' said Miller, who added: 'It's great to have the opportunity to battle great teams - it helps us to grow.'
Despite the final defeat, Miller said she had enjoyed the Games and her time in London.
'It's so awesome here,' she added. 'There are so many people and all of them are very helpful. It was thrilling and I bet all the girls loved it. You guys were awesome.'
Sheng Yu Hong was the outstanding player for China and said: 'We made the country proud.'
In the men's final, Bosnia and Herzegovina overcame defending champions Iran 3-1 in another exciting match - and Sabahudin Delalic is already targeting more success in the future.
'We're going to rest for some time now, but we have the European Championships in Poland coming up. We have won the title seven times and we hope to get the eighth,' said Delalic.
