Zhang claimed the first gold of the Games when she won the women's R2-10m Air Rifle Standing - SH1, setting a Paralympic record of 396 points in qualification as well as a final world record and final Paralympic record of 500.9 points en route to victory.

She followed up that success with bronze in the Mixed R3-10m Air Rifle Prone - SH1, before taking the R8-50m Rifle 3 Positions - SH1 title.

'I feel very good and this is my second Games. I think I did very well,' said Zhang.

On her future in the sport, she added: 'I have no thought to stop shooting as I love it. As long as my performance continues well, I will continue to shoot.'

The final Shooting event of the Games - the Mixed P4-50m Pistol - SH1 - was won by defending champion Park Seakyun.

China topped the Shooting medal table with eight, including four golds, while the Republic of Korea finished second with three golds and one bronze.
